Fairbanks to Valdez is a familiar trip for lots of us. Matter of fact, Denali and I are floating on the Ferry to Cordova over the fourth this summer!

Loved getting to see Valdez again! My son lived there for 3 years and we visited last August. Funny you referred to the sea lions as dog-looking because my son said they call them water-dogs! Can’t wait to see where you go next. (I highly recommend Homer, and stay on the Homer Spit!)

David and I have been so worried about being caught in active wildfires! We are heading to cline river on the way to Jasper and apparently there is a wildfire there at the moment 😱 That is so scary how the cave is collapsing. The music made it intense as well 😂 Stay safe you guys! There's just something about fishing with an incredible mountain view. We're looking forward to the next video.

??? serious question from me for once. Do you have tires with off road tread or pavement tread? If pavement, would off-road kept you from getting stuck in your opinion? I haven't started yet, collecting information for myself.

We have the cooper discover AT3s (I’m 99% sure that’s the model) which are all terrain tires. I think the only way we could have prevented getting stuck here was to not drive on that spot at all. We sank immediately it was such loose fine gravel almost like sand. I think any all terrain tire would be fine and we haven’t had any problems until this moment

Definitely bought the wrong fishing poles. Those poles were made for snagging.

Yeah we just bought whatever the guy at the store recommended and they were the cheapest option. Still worked out for us though 🎣
