My home town! A problem with some of the backpackers is that they tend to hang around backpacker type places, and tend to get ripped off. If you're paying $5 for water you're being screwed!! Here's a couple of hints for some of you guys thinking about visiting us here.... Go to some of the local pubs (spend some money)...not the backpacker haunts like Gilligans and the likes. Say g'day to some of the locals, let them know how you're loving the place. You will be surprised how many people will offer to show you places. They'll tell you of the best swimming holes (croc free one's) and will even offer to take you there. Find a fisherman at the pub, he'll take you out fishing. Most locals are made fishers and have their own boats and tinnies. If you're lucky you'll get a trip to the reef!...get the gist here!? Talk to the locals!! Be security aware, obviously. You can also take advantage of the happy hours at the local pubs as well. Half price drinks are not to be snubbed at. Befriend a few locals and you'll be surprised at their generosity.

How do you like Filmora, i'm using it also. Great tips on this for budget backpacking. I tend to fall more into the digital nomad/get an apartment live like a local camp. Where I concentrate on getting a good apartment deal, but I also run an online business which can be pretty time consuming.

Hi enjoying watching your videos starting off in oz! I spent a year there in 2014 volunteering and fell in love with the country! Planning on going back in May to do a WHV. How do you find good wifi to upload the KZbin videos?
@ThisIsKylesLife8 жыл бұрын
Aw thanks 😃🙌. Yeah OZ is awesome, that's so good your coming back on a WHV. Where you gonna start? Yeah I was really lucky with the WiFi.. Gilligans hostel's wifi is fast.. I upload an almost 13 minute video in 30mins compared to 5 hours in Scotland lol

And perhaps when you finish your travel, you may suffer from malnutrition. So better to get yourself checked once you are done with your trips.

Living cheaply means relative costs. No mention made of actual costs in AUD?? How much for a bed per night or rental of a condo, how much for that bread and jam, how much for that banana milkshake good idea to show folks the actual $$$$

Your full of crap $4 to $5 lol. You get 24 600ml bottles from the supermarkets for $6.50. Then you see 600ml bottles of water in that shop you bought the milkshake. Lol
