First Impressions of HONG KONG 2024! 🇭🇰

After travelling out of Guangzhou, we made it to Hong Kong for a couple of days. I'm excited to visit this city for the first time and show you all my first impressions of this very popular city in Asia!
Even though we were able to explore incredible places like Central, The Peak, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong Park and Mong Kok, we still have so much we want to come back and explore next time... including more of the food!

Hong Kong is a city of gourmet food and fashion. It has the epitome of Eastern and Western cultures. You can eat Cantonese food, and you can easily find Western food. You can see modern Chinese-style buildings and Western-style high-rise buildings. You can climb the mountains to see the harbor. You can also go to the port to see the sea view

I guess you will prefer Hong Kong's food more, because it's more western and less spicy. Have you tried Yum Cha yet? It could be a wonderful experience!

Next time! Yum Cha sounds awesome. So far I’ve definitely enjoyed the food in HK and China! I just know I have to come back for more beef noodles and braised pork 😉

beef noodle and braised pork are two of my favorites too, awesome! And braised pork is actually not hard to home make, I often cook it by myself. Anyway, Yum Cha is kinda like a Cantonese specialty, so it's authentic in Guangzhou or HK, I believe there will be plenty of tasty and affordable Yum Cha restaurants in HK. Really love your videos! Yes, so go make USA or UK your permanent homes. Plenty of freedom there to do whatever you want. People make their place and find the place they belong. So make your perfect HK there, live your lives there, don't look back cos life's too short for all this.

Dude, could you please explain a bit? Because you kinda just threw a statement without any explanation, which is quite confusing... I don't see any homeless people in China, while I see a lot in AU, EU and US. Isn't people living safely the baseline of freedom? I will be glad to exchange opinions with you if you are willing to.

Hong Kong is so small that you can visit it all in one day. You can go to Shanghai, a very huge city. I couldn’t finish the shopping in a few days.

That’s not true! As a city and big metropolitan, Hong Kong has 18 district and 200 islands . Hong Kong can go for hiking even in the city. Hong Kong also has a lot of beaches , we go to picnics and swim on Sunday.

I recommend Bangkok and skip Hong Kong. Hong Kong is expensive, dirty and out of date. Western chain restaurants and brands are abandoning the city. Bangkok is a thriving international city. Overseas foreigner domestic workers receive mistreatment and discrimination from their Chinese employers. You can research the real Hong Kong online. Talk to domestic helpers and learn about their excessive working hours and low pay. Can you imagine being forced to live with your boss who violates your privacy. Don't promote places you know nothing about in reality.

The racism in Thailand is bad though. I visited Bangkok in 2017 and vowed never to return because of the racism. BTW, Hong Kongers prefer not to call themselves Chinese, and so stop calling them Chinese.

@@RM-qw3xz Hong Kong is far worse than Bangkok. Chinese physically and mentally abuse foreigner domestic workers. Their Xenophobic society puts CHINESE first. Expatriates are leaving the city in record number due to the racism.
