Good point! Me, too. Yes! Both hotels opened in late 2019! So given COVID, they might as well be brand new. We really had a lovely stay. I would totally recommend them! (The Chow Kit is a bit nicer and more spacious than MoMo's, but MoMo's is great for a younger crowd!)

Another hotel to stay while in kl is the Hotel Majestic. It's an iconic and beautiful hotel esp..the room and it's 5 star and cost btn Rm 450 to 600 depending on type of room u choose.

@@gerard5975 I can’t agree with you more on your recommendation! 👍😁 I’ve stayed there a couple of times in 2019 (glorious times before the whole pandemic madness😱) and both stays were just fabulous. Loved the ambiance, butler service was wonderful and tea and finger food at the executive lounge was delightful. When some friends came to visit me while I was living in Malaysia, I took them to the afternoon tea at the Hotel Majestic and they love the whole experience.

If you really loves monkey i will not recommended you with this macaque type of monkey.. This long tailed macaque (we called them kera) typically a trouble maker, pick pocket, stealing even robbing in a group.. sometime they consider aggressive and really unpredictable.. while the others one pig tails macaque (we called them beruk) are usually use as a pet and trained to pick coconut and other fruit.. this consider as the most aggressive if it is a lone male.. Long time ago.. even in Kuala Lumpur history had this incident where this lone big pig tails macaque terrorizing kuala lumpur.. and the authority had to ask help from Sarawak ranger from Borneo to solve the problems.. Some said you can read the articles in national museum even the culprit pig tails macaque are been display at the museum.. don't really know if it still there or not?? But if you really want to interact with the monkey i will recommend you try with this other types of monkey.. one of them is leaf monkey (we called them lotong or lutung) even there many cases get mauled by this monkey especially when it is a lone male or if it in a stressed mood because it been harassed by a group of long tailed macaque.. but most of the time you will only find this gentle monkey just don't bother you at all.. maybe it is just luck or maybe there a science behind this.. but further more.. if you going to kuala Selangor and headed to bukit Malawati (historic site) if you in luck you will see this monkey hanging round besides the road or even in the historical site.. sometime ago before COVID there this foreign KZbinr get the chance to hangout with this monkey like a bro.. (i already forgot what that KZbinr channels names so It really a long time ago) But always be extra cautious.. because they still a wild animals.. they still unpredictable.. like a time bomb..
