I love scenic Nuwaraeliya with so mild climate. If someone travels to many parts of Sri Lanka with hot and humid weather, it's good to end up in Nuwaraeliya for few days to really relax before heading back to Colombo for departure.

Yeah loads of times! I was staying in a guesthouse and the locals were very friendly, they helped me organise my stay there! I like to have moments to enjoy offcamera, Sri Lankan people is very friendly!

As you said many tourists when they visit many cities Colombo ,galle, kandy, Nuwaraeliya, Ella, allways keep saying definitely it doesn't looks like a Srilanka 🤣 I am sure many tourists visit Srilanka with a mind set Listening to main media channels. Also most visits here after visiting India. So they assume Sri Lanka to be a nother unclean country but its always different from what they hear and expect to see. Srilanka is Srilanka. If you explor more places each is different from nother city in Srilanka. That's the beauty of this land and that's why its been a tourists destination from Ancient times. Have a wonderful stay and keep enjoying and exploring more places Love from Srilanka

You are right! I think the thing that surprised me the most was the altitude of this region, it was unexpected to actually use a jacket in the mountains, I think what it is always shown about Sri Lanka is the train ride when is sunny and beautiful and the beaches and animals! So many things to do here, hopefully tourism spreads all over the country and helps less popular regions to grow ☺️

I was waiting for your another genuine video. 👍🌷 Englishmen had changed Sinhalese names used for many places like geographical areas, waterfalls and as well as our unique history. (It is said Lord Buddha was born in our country. ) The Sinhalese name for very famous Horton Plains in Nuwara Eliya is Maha Eliya Thanna. It means the large open flat land among the mountains . If you go to this place you can get the experience of a dangerous geographical situation called World's end.

Well at least at night it was very warm in the guesthouse and it felt great to not be sweaty for a bit and wear a jumper ☺️
