Quin led his BVHS Leopards to back-to-back state championships. He wears his two rings proudly.

Sucks that they played in a hurricane yesterday. Coach K has to be drooling for all the ways he can get Martin in space in the passing game too. From what I remember he was only targeted once yesterday and the pass was blown all the way to West Halls.

I know it was a super vanilla play calling scrimmage but I really like how Kotelnicki isn’t forcing the lineman to do things they can’t, and have them playing angles with huge lead steps to just get bodies on bodies..allowing these running backs to do what they do best hopefully in the regular season

Quinton Martin is so tall, he doesn't look as fast as he is

Dang did this kid run a lot in a zone scheme in HS? Setting the LOS like LeVeon Bell there!

Not sure. We didn't watch a lot of Belle Vernon High School football lol. We have to draw the line somwhere.

Singleton doesn't make either of those 2 TD runs. He doesn't have the vision and can't make those cuts.

Cooper Cousins was the most impressive player on offense

How much can we take from this with the talent imbalance between white and blue? Martin Jr. did great but he was going against players that were under sized/ inexperienced freshmen/ in development. Jackson Pryts, Kari Jackson, Ta'mere Robinson, Mason Robinson, Jordon Mayer, Kaleb Artis, Lamont Payne Jr., Kolin Dinkins, Jamiel Lyons, DaKaari Nelson. Hard scrimmage to take anything from especially for the new coaches evaluating player talent. Martin Jr. playing behind the starting offensive line against young players that made rookie mistakes. Being caught out of position. Missing an assignment in coverage. Harris ended up making a lot tackles.

Yeah, we've never been huge fans of the way Franklin divides teams for these spring games. Maybe we're misremembering, but haven't a lot of these games been shutouts during his tenure?
