This is a look around Cloud 9 (surfing capital) and General Luna (the main town), so you can get an overview of what this area looks like.

I think now I must try surfing there. Looks great. Nice drone shots, gives a great overview of the beach and surfing area. You definitely can see evidence of the trees that were damaged by the huge typhoon recently.⛱️ good to see it recovering fast.

I'm Filipino. Nice vlog! And you took incredible video shots from your drone! In those same waters (7:10-8:05) please be careful if y'all are gonna wade or swim in there because of the deadly sea creatures that may lurk in there such as the stonefish and the box jellyfish and the banded sea krait. There is a foreigner family from UK (8 miles away from home) decided to live and built their house. Another couple from Sweden (Emy & Johan), they bought a land, built a house and decided as their second home. You can also do island hopping.

Thanks for the tips. I wanted to go to Sohoton Cove, but it's 3 hours each way from Siargao. Didn't want to spend 6 hours in transit 🥺. Jellyfish are there too. Might look for an alternate route 🤞

What settings are you using with the gopro? Do you use different settings at night as well?

I'm using Hero 9 Black. 4K 60FPS H265 compression. Everything else is standard GoPro setting. At night I shoot 4K 30FPS 🙂

Hot weather with high humid is worst than hot only cause you cant cool down with sweat as your perspiration is not evaporating

It was 380 pesos. I showed a small clip of the menu so you can see 🙂. I stayed at Kanto Hostel and would 100% stay there again ! I rarely review places because my videos are already quite long. But if people ask, I am happy to do so, or just reply to your comments with my opinions 😊

1:46 It IS a town. All the areas in Siargao Island are towns. 10:46 Y'all still call it Sunset Bridge? I also call that Catagnan-Cabitoonan Bridge as the Sunrise Bridge. 12:46 Filipino style barbecue, baby!
