First Impressions of the New Temporary Warden Station Bus Terminal

In this short video, I am seen making my morning commute to school while passing by the new temporary Warden Station bus terminal for the first time! I gotta say, it gets the job done, but it's definitely a downgrade. I mean, were the beef patties at!?!? Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the video!

I hope Warden Station will still have the beige color, it’s my favourite station in Scarborough

Me too! I have a feeling they’re gonna use new coloured tiling with the bus terminal section in the future, but I’m sure some elements will be the same. Thankfully I don’t think any of the subway platform elements are changing which is nice!

I know Victoria Park and Islington had the same bus setup, but I never got to see them (Victoria Park), or use them (Islington). So seeing Warden in person made me question what was the TTC thinking back in the day.😂

Great video of the temporary terminal at Warden Station! I also checked it out recently and I have to agree that it is a downgrade though, especially with the on street boarding for some routes and the beef patties of course!

Glad you enjoyed the video! Also yeah, the new terminal is just alright, and yes, the audacity of the TTC to make some of their customers wait on the street when before they had a fully indoor bus concourse with retail shops!

No problem! I figured people would be Googling what happened to the Warden Station bus terminal now that it’s closed, so I figured I’d give people a walk through it so they’ll know how crappy the new terminal is!😂

I know, it’s not like the new one is any better. But hey, if the same guys that renovated Victoria Park are also renovating Warden, I’m expecting something very cool!

Unfortunately, they’ll be temporarily bus terminal at warden Station for three years

i noticed the grey strip across the floor in concourse where used be fare gates so looks like fare gates moved from there to staircases however once elevators come in - i think they ought to add temporary stairlift for bus passengers if needed to transport them up and down i am unsure what happening i did look at information on website

Is closed area where all those little shops where - gone forever ?

Unfortunately the retail shops including the clothing stores, dry cleaners, and beef patty shops will not be open during renovations (I know, a long tradition broken), although the beef patty shops are scheduled to come back when the renovations are done, but that’s still a long time from now.
