First Impressions of TIRANA, ALBANIA!
In this video, we are exploring the wonderful capital city of Albania, Tirana.
We were welcomed into the country with kindness from strangers and amazing hospitality from our Airbnb hosts. Tirana has an amazing coffee and food culture, which we loved and indulged in at every chance! We enjoyed every moment in this vibrant city and will always remember the kindness we were shown while traveling here!

As an Albanian I just wanted to say that I wish I as a Albanian got the same “hospitality” my people offer foreigners 😂. I just wanted to warn you that my people are very manipulative, some people will be nice to you to try and get money from you, I’m not trying to put down my own people, but it’s just something common.

Bad roads, people drive like crazy, nobody say thankyou or please, if u walk on road sighns they run you over, rubish are everywhere, animals treated like shit, police are like donkeys ... do u want me to still go... endles. 15:09 "Xhiro" literally means "Loop". Basically people go for a walk or a "loop" around the local area. So you leave your house, go for a walk around the park, and later come back home, completing the loop walk.

@@SammyandTommy Definitely, I spent a year and six month in Kosovo as a peacekeeper. As a Puerto Rican, American, avid traveler and coffee addict, with 33 countries under my belt. I speak from experience. I fell in love with the Albanian people during that time frame, And have a deep love and understanding of Eastern Europe. Which is why plan to retire to Bulgaria. My love affair with Eastern Europe Albanians and their coffee, Start with a peacekeeping mission. And I also hope to visit Albania again this year, which why I stumbled upon your video.

If you ever decide to revisit Croatia, I recommend visiting a village called Lucane near Split. It has some beautiful mountains and places to stay and a beautiful ravine called bubalo! 😊

One suggestion though, you guys should head to another city called Korce which is in the Southeastern part of Albania, it is also a very historic city with great culture and climate. 😃

@@SammyandTommy there is a town about 20 minutes to the south of the city and it is called Dardhë (which literally translates to pear btw 😂😂) and they had great views and the best food in the area. There is also a part of the city where it is on the mountain and a church is located there with legitimate murals and a large cross. Looking forward to seeing the video if you make one!!!

This video is a little old i guess😅 , you have no idea how much tirana has changed since that day, 25-20 new towers have been built, a lot more pedestian areas , more trees , and the pyramid is under recounstruction(becoming the biggest IT center in Balkans) , you defenetly need to come back😍😍
