FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF UBUD, BALI | BALI VLOG

In this vlog, we finally make it to Bali, Indonesia. A place that we've always dreamed of visiting!
To start off, we checked in to our accommodation that we booked on Airbnb - www.airbnb.com.... After a very stressful travel day. We almost missed our flight to Bali (thanks Vietjet)! This airbnb was absolutely beautiful, spacious and so peaceful! The airbnb is a shared villa, located just south of the famous Monkey Forest and away from the crazy centre of Ubud.
After having no sleep, no food and a very hectic travel day we walked up our quaint street to find the nearest Warung. A warung is a locally-owned Balinese restaurant that serves up the most delicious and traditional tastes of Indonesia. With our bellies full and hearts content, we had an early night.
The next day, we ventured out to sort out Rhett's simcard, had the most delicious vegan breakfast at Sage and ordered ourselves a bike from GoBali for the week. The rest of the week, we spent relaxing at the pool and catching up on some work as Rhett had injured his back and wasn't able to do much. Ubud was the perfect place to relax and recuperate!

We arrived in Bali in September and we're still here:) We found the weather very comfortable when we first arrived but now as it gets closer to the rainy season, the temperature has certainly gone up! It is super hot at the moment. We would say the best time for Bali is probably April/May-October:) Let us know if you get here! 😀

The best time to visit Bali is during low season (whole year except July and August). The best month is the transition from rainy season to dry season, everything is still green and clear blue water at the beaches.

No, we don’t know any but I’d suggest you hire a car or a driver and just do it yourself😊. There’s tons to do in Ubud, you should probably stay a night or 2. Here’s our drivers WhatsApp number, his name is Predy and he can take you to Ubud: [phone]

@@nehrumasara hmmm there’s no ways you can do all of those in a day. Tanah Lot is faaaar from Ubud, and so is the chocolate factory. Don’t do Tanah Lot and Chocolate factory. They’re in opposite directions of each other. Instead of those, maybe do Penglipuran village and maybe Tina’s Cepung waterfall if you have time
