Конструкция массивная, а зажать ей крепко не получится, только чуть чуть прижать. Не оправдывает себя это приспособление, хотя идея вполне приличная.

Давно пользуюсь тисками такого типа , зажим слабоват ,а в целом не плохо . Быстро снять и быстро зажать самое то , не больше .

Thanks for starting the video with the completed clamp and how it works!!!!! Most videos just go straight into the how-to, so I always have to go to the end to see if it's something worth watching. Да, если такая конструкция, то должно быть как в токарном станке, типа, маточной гайки с трапециевидной резьбой. А обычная метрическая резьба не удержит, если сильно зажать деталь. Она будет проскакивать.

Even though the idea is admirable, the execution lacks. C-clamps are used for most heavy duty applications, for these purposes this one fails. Even if you used hardenable steel, it is way too skinny to use it as a proper C-clamp. This one will simply bend with a little pressure

Не должно. Резьба прямоугольная, не метрическая.

Резьба скорее всего метрическая. А потому и видно как проскакивает после 12:38. Это фиаско ; )))
