First incubation using the Rcom pro 20

This is my first incubation using my new Rcom Pro 20 incubator. I have 18 Orpington eggs in total that i brought from ebay. there are 6 Blue, 6 Buff and 6 White Splash eggs. This is day 6 and the first time we have candled the eggs we will do it again on day 10 and then on day 18. I put my eggs into lock down on day 19 not day 18 it just gives any slow growers a bit more of a chance at hatching. Normally a chicken will turn her eggs several times a day but the incubator does that for me and as its fully automatic it also dose the humidity for me too which was a big issue for us on our last incubation. I hope you enjoy and hopefully i can help teach someone.

Thank you hun its so exciting. Im looking forward to the 4th as thats day 10 so i get to candle them again. Ill know for def whats viable and whats not. Im not holding out much hope for the splash eggs to be honest the eggs wernt in great condition when i got them and looking at them i think ill be lucky to get 2 hatch from them. The blues on the top line are a few days ahead of the others i think. I dont think they were stored in a cool area so they could hatch early. The buffs all looked great. Im so excited i know im nuts but hey its the most amazing thing new life

Thank you hun. Im not holding much hope out for the splash eggs to be honest ill be lucky to get 1 or 2 splash but the others are all going well. Ill candle them on the 4th im so excited they are due on the 15th august but i think the blues could hatch a day or so before that

Hello, I hope that you can help me, after watching the video I really wanted this incubator and I have incubated it twice already. But I don’t understand how I can cool the eggs in this incubator? I have 50% quail chicks are killed at the stage of 10-13 days of incubation. I started looking for the problem and found that this incubator was not cooling the eggs. Please help me with advice on how you cool eggs? After all, this incubator does not even have a heating shutdown. Thank you very much for earlier❤❤❤

Hello humudity 45 % very less! i always using 55% 18 days after 18 days 65% why R-com using 45% humidity really not understanding

Hi hun im sorry iv not got back to you iv been ill. The Rcom is set for the 45% humidity and does seem to work well with that. I have good hatch rates with it. My other incubator ranges from 45% to 55% and i do get good hatches. I do know that anywhere between 45% and 55% is fine for hatching chicken eggs xxxx

@@mahmut822 its something iv been wondering about myself hun i havent had any other incubators so i dont have much information but i am on alot of hatching groups so i will ask people on there. It would be intresting to find out what humidity percentages others hatch at xxxx
