Nice review. I noticed the 7800+ starting you off on the more difficilt wide cannon version of space invaders like my 2600+ until I flipped the difficulty switch to A or B.

It's so interesting to see the difference in speed in pal vs ntsc. Im American and I still own my Galaga and the pacing definitely feels different right down to the music. Hertz aside, I'm not sure if you know, but if you press select at the title screen of Galaga, you can select advanced mode and it will become faster. Thanks for the video!

This is a good video. I don’t think you need to turn off the 7800+ when changing games. Also, the original Atari paddles came two on one connection and that allowed you to put in two sets of paddles for four player paddle games.

You don't need to turn off the console when you switch cartridges on these new consoles. You need to on the original/legacy hardware, but the new + platforms can hot-swap. When you turn off the + consoles you have to wait for the emulators to relaunch and resync the controllers.

So this is a unit you purchased yes? What date did it get delivered please? Can I ask where you purchased it from too? I ask because I pre-ordered mine from Amazon and now they’ve changed my delivery date from the 29th November to the 21st December.

Yes I purchased this with my own money from Argos, I preordered a week before the 29th and it was delivered on the 29th. I have just checked the Argos website and its been removed.
