Hi, Germaine. Thank you so much! I'm not a Japanese teacher, so you might be confused more often than when you talk with italki's teachers. Anyhow, I had a great time. I'm looking forward to talking with you again😄 楽しかったです、また話しましょうね✋

Silent subscriber here, your video always bless me. There is something in your speaking voice that is so smooth and soothing that it sounds like a native japanese speaker 😊. Goal! 🙌

Hi Angelo, thanks for commenting to let me know you’ve been watching! Glad that you find these videos helpful in some way :)
I was curious about bizmates, at first I thought the pricing was something. like 19,000Yen for 2 Lessons! but it's 2 lessons per day with a monthly subscription. So yes I guess it works out to be a good deal at about $200/month for 50 minutes of lesson per day. That's a good deal if you even take lessons only 2x/week I would think. That was fun to hear your conversation -- I need to do more 会話練習

Amazing content as usual Germaine san. I have also been using italki more frequently to practice my conversational skills. Even though I suck at it but I recognize that I have to take the 1st step and try. Thanks for your videos as it have been ever encouraging and be a good role model in motivating other japanese learners out there. I am really grateful and appreciate your efforts. Keep up the good job! I shall keep on support your channel. Looking forward for more awesome contents. :)

Hi Germaine, I'm Malaysian, so I know exactly how you feel when it comes to learning Japanese. I've been learning it for 2 years now, mainly through textbooks and KZbin, basically did a lot of grammar and kanji. I think I could easily pass the N3 but when it comes to speaking, the words just couldn't come out of my mouth and my mind becomes blank immediately. It is only after watching your italki videos that I finally mustered the courage to take my first lesson this week! I realized that I focused too much on grammar and vocab that I ultimately neglected the speaking aspect. Gonna work really hard on speaking from now on, so thanks a lot!

Thanks for sharing! I’m glad the videos have inspired you to take conversational lessons! I do think studying Japanese and actually speaking it can be very different. Hope the lesson goes well for you!

I think Kai San did a really good job of grading his language but not too much so that it still felt natural and interesting.

Yea, I feel like he has what it takes to be a teacher. Maybe as a language learner, he understands the struggles of listening to native-level speech
