First Japanese Conversation with Tsubasa san - italki 日本語会話

Learn Japanese through conversation! I practice speaking with Tsubasa san, a Japanese community teacher on italki. It's a good listening practise resource for those studying beginner and intermediate Japanese.
I'm personally around the N3 level now, although I still struggle a lot with speaking.

When I was in Singapore, a friend said to not sleep with my head by the window, or else my spirit might fly out at night. Are you familiar with that?

I'm not sure about that one, but we do have some superstitions that suggest we avoid sleeping with the bed toward a mirror. Also something to do with spirits I'm sure 😂

Love the videos, but sometimes those bright translations are really distracting. Maybe only use them for the more difficult words? Like individual words instead of a whole grammar structure
