Nancy Reagan, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton all have college degrees. Barbara Bush attended college, but left to be be a wife and mother, as did Rosalyn Carter. Some of these fine ladies also held jobs of their own. Dr. Biden is a college professor, a position she is still holding part time while being First Lady. She held that job while serving 8 years as our second lady. She’s been First Lady for just under a year, but during her tenure as Second Lady she hosted the White House Summit on Community Colleges with President Obama. She also advocated for Cancer Research. I’m sure she will carry over her focus on Health and Education initiatives into her work as First Lady.
