The Kenworth T680 has always been my favorite. I really like the Next Gen version. Many people criticize the fully digital display, they are afraid that it will fail. But I am sure that such things are done efficiently and should not be afraid of innovations.

I like the new headlights and side fairing features. And 500 hp is great. But you can keep the automatic transmission and the other electronic gadgets and gizmos (front radar and EVERYTHING running through the PeopleNet interface) being hawked as "safety" items. While new and shiny stuff with colors (electronic instrument panel) will probably appeal to the "two-pedal" crowd, it's just another money hole when it comes to repairs.

Came from a manual to an automatic. It's a love/hate relationship with both. I still prefer the manual. Also the driver should be able to disable the audible proximity warning in heavy traffic while driving. Nothing more stressful listening to a constant beep beep beep when already dealing with a stressful situation.

The interior is still the same, apart from the new gauge cluster panel. I have always loved KW. Went from a T-660 to a T-680 to a T-880. Great work trucks but I cannot stand the poor turning radius, heavy steering, oversized windshield that nobody asked for and poorly insulated cabs with outdated storage systems. I recently switched to one of the new NextGen Cascadias and it’s by far a much more comfortable truck, smooth steering, smooth transmission, well insulated, the suspension is still crap, but overall a much better ride.

I am an owner operator, a fleet truck is the most bare bone version of any truck regardless of brand, fleets order based on budget as opposed to comfort and specs. No since they use different electronic control systems. Older trucks use NAMUX and CVMUX this new truck uses VMUX. they are not swappable.

I have fifteen 2019, all upgraded including the navigation systems that are spotty at best, bunk heaters that normally don’t work, driver-side windows that roll down but not up, plastic fittings on high pressure hoses that should be brass because that’s what you pay for once the plastic ones break.. etc. Number 1 complaint from all drivers no storage.. Do better Kenworth.

I hate many things about my new gen truck. This new sleeper interior is horrible. Fridge has a big freezer - what for ??? Above table I miss my personal cupbord to keep my woman's personal stuff. Huge open shelf for microwave - I don't use it anywhere - it;s so unhealty !! waste of space. I hate it so much being 2/3 weeks team on the road. They screw up my interior colours from ordered tan/beige, I have tan and black and it feels like a cuffen.Very depressing. I hate the line assistance as I can't sleep with that all beeping including signal sound. Horror, not being able to rest while another driver is behind the wheel. -5*****

Kenworth t680 are having way too many problems with the def and those problems are happening way to often braking your bank account. Even the Cummins ones, this Kenworth t680 are now made with way too many paccar parts, every single time your engine light comes on it will be def $2000 to $4500 and a few weeks out of commission, dealership can't keep up, too many waiting for parts and in line to be fix, DO NOT BUY A KENWORTH, THEY'RE CRAP
