Hmmm looks really cool, might wanna get this but to be honest Tsuranagi v2 already beats the C9ii in pure staging. Interested to pair this with a headphone not with an IEM. Go for a desktop amp or this EA4?

I think the EA4 will likely beat the tsuranagi II for staging but if it’s absolute seperation maybe the tsuranagi may come out ahead. I compared the HM1 with the EA4. Soundstage is definitely wider than the HM1 and the whole positioning and instrument spread is just really good on EA4. Where HM1 beats the EA4 is the absolute separation and dynamics. This is using HEK Unveiled.

Does anyone know if the company Luxury and Precision has a social media page? I was trying to contact their customer service but their website was not working properly. Their email doesn't work. How long do tubes last on a portable tube amp and how do you replace them?

The tubes can’t be replaced from what I know. They should last about 30k hrs

@ZPProductions Also compared other Chinese companies like Fiio and ibasso, Luxury and Precision do not seem to be very accessible. What would happen if there was a fault or I wanted the item to be serviced since I have never spent this amount from a Chinese company and they have different retail protection laws compared to Europe.

@@garrygalloway5043 it’s a spec of Krog nutubes. I usually just go to my local retailer for warranty. But do note it takes at 2-3months to fix most china products due to shipping and turn around. For the safest piece of mind, get it from a local distro. It cost more but at least they can swap and refund for any failure in the first month.

​@@ZPProductions Hello, can the EA4 be powered independently from the mains or does the current always run via the batteries? With Xduoo dac amps there is a switch that you can run 12V independent of the battery.

I think when it comes to open sounding and power the ea4 is better. But if you want more of a airy and light smooth feel type, the 475 is a touch ahead

Sadly I dont own the susvara. It was a loaner unit. I only have the HEK Unveiled for Hifiman

Based on quite some test, i think we can expect a bigger sound and more dispersed mids with some enhancement to the air region with the EA4. I think for SUSVARA, the dispersed mids will be the only downside since the original susvara is slightly dispersed in mids sound compared to the newer unveiled and OG sus probably will benefit from the slightly more aggressive mids the enleum gives. But if its the newer unveiled, I am guessing the EA4 maybe better.

Im of the opinion it doesnt matter. Its standard 18650. The question is do you believe in the cherry pick or not. But the minimum is all battery must be replaced together as with most 18650 device to ensure similar state of battery and you will need to do some screwing around

The C9II is likely to be 1k sgd (700 USD) cheaper than this. But I’m not sure if C9 to C9II is it an appreciable upgrade hmm.

@ZPProductions Not in my place. Did not see any Polish audio store to have EA4, at least for now, but with all the VAT, import fees, and shipping, IT will be closer to 50% more expensive to import than the c9II 😅

What you talking about? you need to add 5x the the volume setting to even get audible noise on the U12T. I own the N3Ultra which uses the real tube. I think this amp spanks it really hard while still having that warm smooth and big sound.

Which did the caldera clon osed sound better, this one or the mass kobo 475? Im looking for smoothness with great dynamics and slam. Have you tried Atrium open also with this one?
