First look and unboooooxing of the Adidas Ambition (Black Panther Edition) mid-distance spikes. These were purchased with the intent of using them in 400m training sessions. I also compare them to the Prime SP 2.0 Sprinting Spikes.

I’m not a hurdler so can’t really say, they do say they can be used in steeple chase lol! I’ll see if any of my friends have used them in hurdles

I spoke to my friend, he doesn’t use them in competitions he uses the maxfly and the adidas prime sp2. However those are very expensive and difficult to get a hold off. I think you can get away with them in 400 hurdles. It all depends on price and availability really.

Yeah you certainly can sprint in them as the aqextj8454 said. I prefer other spikes myself but as another viewer said Oblique Seville ran 9.86 in them and got a PB so if it’s good enough for him lol!

Hello, I have the Adidas Ambition, but I have a problem with them, despite being the right size for me, it is very difficult to put them on my feet.what do you recommend? Did you have the same problem wearing the adidas ambition?

Hmm the ambitions for me were a relatively easy fit. They only issue perhaps is the lining on the tongue section which is knitted to the inside of the shoe. Adidas in general tend to be a tighter fit and the shape of the toe box doesn’t match people’s feet, however i found the ambitions Ok.

Sorry didn’t see this message lol. It is strange because they are quite loose with me by the toe box section. Might need loosing with the shoe laces to make it fit easier
