It's a Chinese fake, Ebay and other Chinese online shopping sites are full of fakes, from Bear Grylls knives to many other brand name knives. I got burnt on a fake Gerber strongarm off Ebay as well. The genuine Gerber Bear Grylls knifes haven't been made for years now. Gerber do a green a grey version now, called the Gerber survival knife, but I have only seen them with half and half serrated blade. I have one and it's a good knife for the price and exactly the same as the first Bear Grylls knife. If you can find the later version the BG Ultimate pro knife it's made from a better steel and better sheath. Sorry you got sold a fake.
