Great plugin. It goes on so many tracks these days. The audio trigger combined with the compressor is really handy. Totally worth the upgrade

Definitely a top 3 plugin for myself. Use it all over the place, the trimming with audio trigger is top notch, especially in FL studio with its rather archaic editing tools

The lack of sidechain filter in kickstart is why I use Duck by Devious machines for this. I am excited to use the new shaperbox though with the multiband ducking. Duck has that a little but its not great.

Great tutorial on the plugin. Word of warning about the filtering the side chain, thou. Without filtering, it's triggering at the transient (which is the click of the kick), but if you low pass filter that too low, the transient no longer comes through, and the side chain triggering actually gets delayed a bit. So I'd filter the chain only low as is absolutely needed when kick is high passed during a break or whatever segment you have going on where pumping is not needed.

There is an adjustment setting so you can move the trigger back a millisecond or two if need be.

for volume ducking i went shaperbox 2 > kickstart 2 > devious machines duck. Looks cool though, multi effects can do so much and shaperbox has a lot of modules

Hey bro thanks for the kind answear in my previous question. I just subbed. I have one more question 1) as a current shaper box 2, kickstart 2 owner , im still debating whether i should upgrade to 3 or not. I dont use side chain alot on my production tho would you recommend it for upgrading?

Cheers for this! One thing ive noticed that is annoying me is most the dials/faders in Shaper3 are automatable but I cant seem to do it on the cutoff which seems stupid. Any ideas how to do this in Bitwig? I thought right clicking gives you the option but not on this plugin.

To automate FilterShaper Core’s Cutoff (or Resonance, or Drive in DriveShaper, Bits or Samplerate in CrushShaper etc), simply automate the Envelope's Shift slider (which is an automatable parameter) to offset the LFO. This works even with the Envelope's Amount at 0%. Allowing automation of Cutoff and Resonance as regular VST/AU parameters could unleash chaos, because of the way Shaper parameters work with LFO drawing.

Hey guys! Quick question, I'm currently using ShaperBox 3.2.1 in Ableton Live and for some reason specifically ShaperBox keeps endlessly playing sound long after all sounds from all other channels have stopped. This is very annoying, undesirable, and it's adding sound into regions of the exported audio files where there shouldn't be sound (no midi clips at all). ShaperBox 3.2.1 is the only plugin giving me this issue. Can anyone please let me know how to fix it?

Shaperbox shouldn't play audio by itself unless you're using the noise module. Pretty sure you can set it to gate the noise when nothing is passing through it.

It's ok but a little dated compared to shaperbox. I don't think it does multiband processing and pretty sure it doesn't have the audio sidechain functionality either... not to mention the lack of the extra effects in Shaperbox

I have Infiltretor 2. I love it for weirder sound design stuff (the new spectral stuff is cool), but far prefer the workflow with Shaperbox in general.

Shaperbox 2 was not very CPU friendly....hence moved to Devious machines duck, infiltrator. Better UI and SC trigger as well.

Jeez. Their server is down. Probably because of people like us. I have seen your video title and without even watching it I went to pay for whatever update price they ask. Honestly they deserve every penny of my money and I even think that 29 bucks is underpayment. And I don't even know what in update as iI still didn't watch the video.
