Your Dash 8 will be available later as adware. The trick to Saba, is configure early with max flaps and fly as close to stall speed as possible. Use a bush landing technique where you fly at max angle of attack. You may get intermittent stall warnings. With the short runway you must land with at the slowest speed in order to avoid a runway excursion. Keep the blue side up.

I'd like to see online runway spawns removed and have to start from a parking area. Last night just as I was taxiing towards the designated runway I selected for departure from KDEN, I stop at the hold short line and just as I'm about to request clearance, a group of 10 Cessna Citations spawn right in front of me and begin rolling one at a time doing some ridiculous formation flight. I feel like MSFS2020 isn't officially released until Jeff does a video! Great job on explaining how to get started on this sim. I flew some yesterday & the small GA aircraft really feel great to fly. Great sound too. But I did struggle with the cockpit view. The Crtl + Space Bar key stroke didn't always reset my cockpit view. Also, every time I set a notch of flaps, I have a button setting bind on my Honeycomb, it would put me in the External view and I would have to hit the End key to get back inside the cockpit. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please comment. Not having a replay mode, not being able to save a situation or a flight for replay was a major oversight, but it was probably sacrificed for now in order to get the software released. I'm sure it's in the works. Definitely looking forward to seeing a flight training videos from you as your XP 11 series was very entertaining! Waiting for the download now, probably won’t get to touch it till the weekend (going to be a long week). What grinds my gears about this sim is that MS abandoned the flight sim community 13 years ago (ignoring the disaster known as Flight), meanwhile X-plane has been pushing the sim platform forward making steady progress, and now MS drops a few million bucks on development and instantly the little guy is obsolete, this would be way better for me if it was just the continual evolution of a product but a small company like Laminar Research will never have an R&D budget, or resources to make something like this happen. Rant off, I’m not stupid, I bought it.

The concept is great. The flight graphics are amazing. I can't wait to finish getting the controllers and start flying. However, I just thought I would comment on the sims' depiction of Polson MT. I live there. Seriously. Polson Montana. The only part of the Graphic location that even closely resembles Polson Montana is the Flathead Lake graphics. The area of the river you were flying over is called "the lower Flathead". The upper Flathead is at the North end of the lake and feeds into the Flathead Lake. The South end of the Lake (where the town of Polson is located) is where the lake drains off into the Lower Flathead River and there is a Dam called Kerr Dam at this point (not depicted in the SIM). I know this is only a SIM but the graphics depicting Polson as an airport surrounded by farms and fields is all wrong. Polson MT. is a fair sized town (not depicted in the SIM). Lots of urban development by the Lake. The airport is nothing like in the SIM either. It's more like an "airfield" or "airstrip" for small private planes and more than a few private jets. The closest REAL airports are 60mi to the south in Missoula MT. (Missoula International). Or 60mi to the north in Kalispell MT. (Glacier International). I only bring this up because I was under the impression that this SIM used real satellite images and Google Earth and GPS.

I agree with you Jeff when you mentioned about close to the ground scenery. People ate ratting about house details, building details etc.. flight sim , for me has always been great from the air. Already bought the London landmarks cos I live in the UK 🇬🇧 😀

Hi Jeff. I would absolutely love to see a flight out of Schuylkill County Airport (KZER). The airport is atop the Broad Mountain, and the westward departure pretty much goes right off into the valley below. It's a neat departure. There are loads of options to fly into. Maybe stop by the Tidmore private field near Seltzer before heading off to the old Kutztown airfield (which is in the game despite being closed for 12 years) or head to Allentown Queen City or the big one, LVIA. Or, head north to Bloom or Hazleton Municipal or one of the airports near Wilkes-Barre. Idk. Like you said, the world is our oyster, so-to-speak, and I think any flight out of Schuylkill County Airport would be scenic. (Be sure to buzz Shenandoah on the way wherever you're going :P)

Agreed on the 3rd party devs. Everyone is rushing out and "porting" over or half-assing new items to take advantage of the hype. This sim is spectacular for GA and bush flying right now, but I feel like the quick release is nothing more than a paid beta right now. If you're a heavy metal flyer only accustomed to the realistic systems we have in XP and P3D, may not enjoy the sim right now, until the high quality revs come online in probably early 2021. This sim will really shine once the first updates from Asobo roll out over the next 6 months or so and when 3rd party comes online

Otherwise , the sim looks as good as we hoped for!
