G&G Armament, regarding your G2 gearbox. I live in BC, Canada and all sorts of weather patterns take effect here. I maybe if it's not in your plans for it I had the thought what if mud, sand, water etc were to get inside my gun, what would happen to the G2 and tackle theses hazards by making the G2 water and scratch resistant. I thought it just be a cool feature to have. But I absolutely love your products and can't wait to get myself one of the G2 gearbox's for my cm16 SRXL

G&G Armament looks nice. The ambidextrous function is great ( yeah Lefty!) and the mag cutoff feature is great as wel. Everything else. We wil see how it holds up. But that big, clunky mosfet. Jeezes, i have a hard time putting in buffertube lipo's as it is, and i dont even have a mosfet in the buffertube.

I'm really hoping the tuning is improved over previous guns. The parts might be better designed, but shimming and AOE tend to still be so-so to poor on previous G&G guns I have worked on for clients, even if they are the Top Tech line.

i have a feeling they could make an orange safety mag that allows you to unlock that latch to release the safety mech to release that round inside the chamber. or just as well take a non GG mag that fits and is empty and put it in there and dry fire it that way.

I really like the way they made that cut off feature for the mags! It's stupid when companies make their own systems that don't work with other brands anymore. Nothing worse than running out of ammo and you can't ask anybody else for a mag. Great job G&G, well done.

I have had bad experiences with the ETU. It doesn't handle high voltage and will burn out. After that, every things nice, but once that ETU burns out. say good by to the mag empty feature, the "clicking" feature, and you have to move all of your internals to another shell.

This looks pretty interesting indeed. I wonder what kind of gears and motor it'll have. CNC'ed gears, or is that too much to hope for? Would also love a proper high torque neo magnet motor, the one in my Top Tech M4 was a bit meh, relatively weak magnets for being neo magnets. I do like G&G AEG's, half of my "arsenal" is G&G, the only thing I don't like about G&G AEG's is that they are a bit picky on mags. I do like how they construct guns, it seems like they go for simpler and more robust solutions. The hop-up chamber in my G&G M4 isn't held in place by a spring like in most M4's, it's clamped in place between the gearbox and barrel assembly, it sits very securely in place. This obviously have a positive effect on FPS consistency and accuracy. I also adore their green hop-up bucking, it's definitely among the best on the market. I've gone through several different brands, both cheap and expensive, and so far G&G has been the best overall. It's not perfect, but it's the one that has suited me the best, overall good quality and easy to work on. My "flagship" DSG AK-104 is also a G&G, not a Top Tech, but still a nice gun, very easy to work on. Only complaint I have is the stock mount, it's relatively weak, but I guess one can't expect perfection in the cheaper models. G&G, please, please, please make a Top Tech G3, I don't care if you get licensing for trademarks, it would be awesome anyway. :D

You have to abuse it or severely overload a li-po to make it catch fire or explode, but it can be ruined by discharging it too low. I've never bothered with li-po alarms and such, I know my guns well enough to notice a significant drop in ROF. I rarely drain my li-po's much under 12 volts with normal use anyway as I use relatively high capacity li-po's in relatively efficient AEG's.

Hmm depending on the price but the only actual feature which i think its cool is the 'stop fire when mag empty' thing and that its not a closed system and you can use standard mags. But what they could have done (and lets face it its not too difficult) is a split gearbox design (ideally CNC aluminium) - Now this would be awesome. G2 Mechbox is just 'OK' but nothing to special. G&G you can do better :)

It kind of is, up until recently manufacturers, even the top ones just cared about externals (except marui, g&p and a few more). I noticed that when ICS started putting out gearboxes with "aftermarket" features, everyone jumped on the train, especially g&g. This is a good thing IMO, many players can get quality replicas with no need of teching.

Now don't get me wrong, I agree with you. Stock guns with already good internals is a great thing. My point was that it wasn't a lot new in terms of innovation. I've seen many of those features already incorporated into other stock guns or aftermarket products, which I have no problem with, and it's great to see g&g upgrading. In my particular case, it's not a big deal because I just upgrade and swap parts with all my guns to make them my own anyway.
