2 questions: do you think all the 2025 4 strokes (dual sport models etc) will lack the kick start option? and have you heard anything about a 2025 RS race special edition with the KYB setup? thanks!

Good Morning! I am not sure on the RS having the kick start option... Part of me thinks it will continue to have the kick start option so factory can use up the remaining engine cases if they have any. If they feel they are in a good spot with parts inventory maybe they will switch? Either way, I think it is a pretty minimal change . The second question, I have not heard anything on the RS Special Edition. I think there are still a few 2024 390 RS SE models up for grabs so they might be clearing those out first! How easy is it to change map switch to handle bars ?

I would think if you had a previous model year bike and wanted to upgrade it would be pretty easy. Once the 2025 bar pads become available to order you could snag one of those and just route your wire to the bar instead of the top of the tank. Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Good Question, I am currently working on a video that I will probably release after Christmas of us mapping this exact bike as we uncrate it. At this time there are ONLY 2024+ maps. If things change we will go back and remap his bike.

Did they update to metal oil pump gears? If they offer metal gears from beta,why the hell dont they come as standard? how about a low oil pressure warning light? Great bike but always some quirks to remind you its italian.

They do not come standard with the steel oil pump gears. I will say that in my 15+ years with Beta and also being one of the highest volume dealers every year... and I also hear about 90% of the Beta issues in the country due to folks calling as they have watched our KZbin channel..... I have NEVER had a bike fail because of the plastic gears. The steel is an upgrade option just like any other manufacture that offers upgrades. I would rather not have any more sensors on the bikes either. Lets keep things simple! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
