I just done two rolls on augmented Valkyries for firepower for T6 running and they turned out amazing. The irony is that they are worth so much now I’m a little afraid to use them 🤦‍♂️

I'll have to try them some time. But its gambling and an investment so I'm in no rush. Augmented drones are probably a safer bet.

they drop from 'CRAB' sites that can only be spawned by dropping a beacon in null/low and only runnable by capital ships.. so yea. The 1% of the 1% lol

They would still be considered medium drones, but if they are T2 or Augmented and you wanted to benefit from the drone specialization skill (2% per lvl) you need that new skill.

New thing to me. Sad you can't have a stack of 5 per roll. I imagine you cannot repackage these drones, as they all have unique stats. And unless you can change their name how do you know which ones was a T2, or a faction, or an augmented, and which ones was doing thermal, kninetic, etc. Seems like a mess to manage in your hangar and drone bay. Now, I'm not a fan of RNG, but it seems possible that you roll something overall worst than it was initially (see at 16:10 with the damage amplifier). The price isn't worth it to me. And I prefer to know what I'll get before I take my decision to buy.

Yup! If that's the case, you can find abyssal modules on contract with already ok, good, great stats but you will pay premium isk for it

There's not much reason to use t2 for this. They're not that much different in price compared to navy, and the only reason t2 do more damage is because of the spec skill. So you might as well run navies if you don't want to splurge on augs.

Absolutely not worth it. Almost noone wants to run the CRAB sites because A- the countdown mechanic is dumb af and B- the risk / reward sucks ass because CCP ballanced the loot table as if Dreads were still 1 bil a pop. You can make double the ISK running Abyssals without putting a warpable beacon on everyones overviews.

makes sense.. sadly every new PvE piece of content that CCP releases will be compared to running abyssals. The question will always be "Can I make more and risk less by doing abyssals?" but then again, there are people who can't manually pilot for their lives but have been playing for 10+ years and want PvE content for caps lol thanks for the comment.

BRM only adds insult to injury - shit's almost impossible to keep at 100 and certainly does not reward risk taking...

I am gonna pause on 7.06 and be straight up mean about it: Adding even further more ISK sink customization on stuffs that are even more of a consumable than your actual ship in a game where everything that is not burnable is meaningless because there are no no burnables to stuff your consumable for the moment with even more that from it`s point of view are even more consumables is brain dead. This game have no meaningful gameplay but ISK gain which is than to be either done nothing with or burned like fireworks sometimes within less than an hour of spending it. You can say something like "But I will just heavily customize my main ISK grinder and it`s drones" that will ease up and increase my ISK/ph and I will be able to spent on better burnables for fun... No... There is no such thing as Safe Meaningfull ISK gain in EvE in before you reach the end game tears >aand< when you reach the end game tiers (AHahhaha Of course I don`t actually play EvE and you are reading the thoughts of someone who is just saying all of that out of spite) and any ISK spent on improving your work horse past the bare minimum of what gets the job done is retarded. To summarize ... EvE Is a game about optimisation and minimalism, To maximize things in a PvP hardcore game with unlimited discrepancies in numbers of player encounters in regardless of how much you pre plan, pre rout, take time zones and acitvity peaks into considerations >You will get Caught< and your Investment will be shat uppon... You can only pray it`s >after< it paid itself out but with benefits. If you artificially increase it`s price with module and drone augmentation the only thing that will happen is more or less is >it will make you actual ISK gains >slower< < because it will take it >longer< to cover >it`s own price< and ergo extend the risk perioud for the entire endevour to actually end up at a loss. Stop Playing EvE... play other games. However if your uber customized Dread or Carrier >and it`s customized fighters, if that is a thing< manage to pay itself and start gaining (without perma loss of it) It will than of course if you did customize it skillfully return you ~more ISK per unit of time... But to make fly and lose litteral close to 1 time non repeatable things is in the long run (which for it`s age EvE is) ... stupid and pointless and so are the mechanics that are enabling it... :P Aahhh.
