There's nothing anyone can say to convince me taking away chase music was an ok move. There's nothing the default fixes that having normal music would problemize (to make a problem)

@@stankyo That's the deep hole of half assed excuses we're in rn. Tell me why they couldn't just add a second higher pitched heartbeat + visual to show a second incoming killer. If both killers are chasing the survivor then whoever first started chase gets to keep the music on the survivors pov. That's the bear minimum we should expect. Let alone a combo of music which wouldn't be that hard. Just splice instruments from one track onto another. I thought of one for slinger + spirit last 2v8 and it'd probably take 10 whole minutes to make sound nice

@@Fotumain13 I mean yeah the bots can't disconnect but survivor bots are kinda boring to go against as they always do the same thing, predropping pallets and having the ability to see through walls causing no mindgame potential. There are also killer bots in 2v8 which means if a killer DC's you get for a replacement a killer with ESP and near perfect accuracy which sucks for survivors. If it is a nurse that DC's than kiss the chance of victory goodbye.

@ Switching 2 survivors for bots here and there will really speed up queue times for killers (hopefully), which I'd find worth it for the entertainment of being killer. It seems a little annoying for survivors, but just 2 out of 8 probably won't be that horrible.

@ Even as a killer main I wouldn't wish that on survivor teams. They need to at least give a massive bp bonus for survivor queue like they did the first time around. I don't think this strategy of buffing survivors and nerfing killers worked out well last time.

​@@braytonewell Which was stupid and just encouraged tunneling, since it was based on hook states it was horrible for killers if they spread hooks out, and only good if they tunneled survivors out as fast as possible. I'm more talking about forcing the pickups to make it take longer for killers, and the insanely busted abilities survivors were given, like the aoe heal and instant gen repairs. Any amount of coordination the the survivor side and it becomes almost impossible to win as killer.

As someone who played most of the RE games (RE0, RE1 original, remastered, RE2-3 original + remake, RE4 original, RE5, RE6, Code Veronica) I am SO excited to play this!!! Honestly, even if my stubborn friend at the time didn't link me to your guides Otz to convince me "DBD is no longer bad", there's a good chance RE being added to DBD in 2021 would've made me reinstall DBD as I love the games so much (context, free weekend in 2016 made me uninstall, this Myers destroyed me as Nea, teammates left me on hook to die, somehow I wasn't lowest points gained, took ages to find another match). Only downside is, I wish they picked more exciting skins for collection, basketball Rebecca skin from RE0, RE6 Ada skin is pretty decent imo, Luis Sera from RE4 as a Leon skin would be great, same with Billy Coen from RE0, Steve Burnside from Code Veronica, Ashley Graham from RE4 for Rebecca skin? I could go on and on lmao, I did like Piers Nivans from RE6 as well! Otherwise ya got my attention DBD, my favourite licence, my favourite map (best map too in terms of escapes, on killer I put up a tough fight because of map knowledge, so every time i get this map on either side I just smile and say "home field advantage" 😃), the herb mechanic from RE games, STAAARS guy Nemesis and Wesker himself, even William Birkin can join in the fun if you pick Blight. I'm honestly in heaven, even if I get tunnelled out as surv or get gen rushed on killer every game, because 2v8 with RE theme just sounds like an amazing time. Maybe I'm being too hard on myself because last 2v8 was dreadful performance wise and I do well in this mode, but we'll see. 🤔Thanks for the vid showcasing 2v8! *tl;dr* RE fan hype to play this, I do wish they picked more exciting skins or character cameos for the Collection though. Hey Otz, love your content, every video always seems to brighten my day. I have a video idea for this coming mode, and that is to get other fellow dbd players, and make it either wesker/legion/blight/nemesis with their respective resident evil skins, then have the survivors use various skins of corresponding resident evil characters, so it's almost as if every resident evil character got stuck to relive the horror of their villain again. Thought it would be great fun for various youtubers where each show different POV's, hoping we get something great for this upcoming 2v8 as I have high hopes it will be amazing

They're adding a maximum of two bots to every lobby that needs them. So if queue times get long then they'll add bots to lobbies
