I bought (from Andertons - you're welcome) a Sire V2 P-bass - sight unseen, took a total flyer on it. I trusted these guys earlier video reviews. Can NOT put it down. Beautifully made, massive tonal range, plays like a dream. Completely surpassed my expectations. Shockingly good for the money. Just get one.

There's something so charming about Nathan and Lee's relationship. The mutual respect and affection is so apparent. They're clearly having a lot of fun without the video coming across as self-indulgent (like some other videos on this channel)

I bought a V7 in this line, the black with maple fingerboard 🤤 I'm glad I could find mine! They're hard to find apparently, had to go to eBay for mine. But I absolutely love this instrument, I mainly play passive right now anyway this bass sounds so so good, it's like my 70's vintage modified squier bass with Seymour Duncan pickups swapped in, but so so so much better 😍 especially the low B string, such clarity and sustain in the low low notes, this bass is awesome and worth every penny

Bloody hell 2! That intro jam was just slamming. I'm thinking if you want a killer funk guitar take that's in time, let the bassist do it. Small suggestions (take or leave), I'm blasting the jam and then the talking comes in it knocks me over. Maybe just lower and compresses the talking stuff and let the music shine. Outro jam at the end switching instruments would have been really fun even it wasn't technically perfect. That intro alone makes this the best video I've seen on Andertons ever. Will Lee and Steve Lukather would both dig this one. Huge kudos to everyone involved.

Last summer I was talikng with a luthier about these basses and he told me that a common problem of Sire basses is you need to put new batteries very often in order to keep the brightness and to sound well. Is it true? Does this new generation improve that problem (in case it was true)? Greetings from Spain!!

Pablo Ruiz Fernández I’ve had mine for about 2 years now and haven’t had to replace the batteries. I do take care of the battery life when I do play though (switching to passive mode or just unplugging whenever I’m off stage during church service) and I haven’t had to replace or noticed any tone drop but I guess it’ll come soon haha
