The flu jab has no active flu virus inside therefore it is impossible that Callum got the flu from the jab, he was either already going to get the flu anyway or he just had a cold. It should not put him off as you cannot develop flu from the flu jab. I am a Nursing student x (feel better soon Holly)

Those style of eyebrow razors are great for shaving your face, makeup goes on so nicely after and hair grows back to same peach fuzz as before

13 years ago I took my first flu vaccination and after that I had the worst flu ever. I was in extreme pain all over my body, especially my legs. I would not walk for a week due to pain. That was my first and last flu vaccination. I don't regret it.

The flu vaccine is not a live vaccine so can not give you flu. It may cause you to feel a bit off for a couple of days but in most cases there are no after effects at all from having it.

Hi Holly, I have looked into this theory about the flu jab so I just wanted to pass this onto you. They no longer use a live culture like they did in the early days. They use a synthetic for the flu jab, but you might have had the flu virus in your body waiting to come out, which usually goes full blown in about 3 days, so the fact you had the jab won’t stop the virus from going into the flu, it’s just unlucky. I know if I’ve been stood next to someone who keeps sneezing, I can count the days... usually 3 and I come down with the flu, but it’s not a severe flu like I used to get when I didn’t have the jab. That’s what my nurse told me when I asked her as she was just about to jab me.Back to the video, I love Matalan, all departments

I’m having District nurses out at the moment, & I was speaking to one of them who I’ve gotten to know quite well. She’s been really poorly recently, & said she refuses to get the flu jab as her & 2 colleagues got it at the same time 2 years running & all 3 came down a week later with full blown flu & had to have 3 weeks off of work (obviously in district nursing you can’t go to anyone with the flu anyway, but the first week & a half of flu is spent bedridden trying to break a fever - the rest is trying to build up your energy again). I had the flu jab up until age 11, & I got it straight after too. I’m 33 now & I *still* remember what it felt like & how poorly I was; didnt go to school for just over 3 weeks, I felt like death, had to crawl on my hands & knees to the toilet, couldn’t eat, I had 2 13.5tog duvets on, a huge double fleece blanket, fleecy PJ’s, a dressing gown, 2 hot water bottles & my teeth were chattering. 5 minutes later my mum was putting the fan on full blast in the middle of winter & I was in a nightie with no duvets on! I remember it breaking in the early hours, I was lying on top of my duvets with a sleeping bag unzipped on me. Cor, I didn’t half feel weak for a few weeks! I’m asthmatic so I’m meant to get it as I’m more vulnerable but I don’t. I had flu at the beginning of this year but not as bad as the first time around all those years ago, I had it alongside a chest & sinus infection & I broke the fever after 4 days but eee, it’s horrid! All my sympathies. It’s normal to feel pants after the jab for a bit but it should go after a few days. Much love Holly! X

Shaving your eyebrows would make them grow back thicker . I have mine waxed which doesnt hurt as much as threading or plucking .

I had an eyebrow “incident” twice in my life. Back in HS (80s, yeah I’m old... lol) one of my best friends was training to become a hairdresser (in her mums salon, she later went to college after we left school. She offered to give me highlights, I like an eejit, agreed. She left the mixture too runny. It was so dangerous, it ran down my face and bleached out sections of my eyebrows. It looked like I had shaved/missing chunks of eyebrow... this way before the trend of deliberately shaving sections. Then in college I worked weekends in a local cafe/coffee shop/bistro on Saturdays by day we served usual cafe style foods, at night it’s switched up to become a bistro. One Saturday we had our usual order phoned in from the local police station. I was making the bacon sarnies n burgers ordered. I flipped a burger as the cop arrived for pick up, I’d never seen him before, and he was gorgeous. So I was not paying proper attention to the grill. Too much fat hit the coals and WOOOOSH!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I lost my fringe, eyebrows and eyelashes that day. I was super lucky not to actually be burned. I scored a date with the cop though... so not all bad.

My daughter bought the pack of shavers from TkMaxx and gave me one, as I use them all the time, but they're ones weren't very good! The best make to get is Lilibeth (sp?) I bought my 2 pk on QVC a long time ago and they lasted me ages, more expensive but worth the money, I think amazon does that make too. I used to pluck my brows but needed my glasses on to do it, not easy, so now I can use these with my glasses on alot easier! 😉
