For a lot of people that is new: Yes, it would take time for every mod to be updated to the next patch. This mod support only support some things, so in the future you will probably have to use nexus and this mod at the same time, but at least the mods in game you only need to download and install with 1 button, so it's super easy. As for the other mods, it will depend on the type or if the modder want to make it with the new toolkit. At least (i think) that "Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender" (this is a requirement for a lot of mods) will now be available in the mod manager inside the game. Soooo... We just need to wait some days for new mods to appear in the mod manager and wait for the updates of the mods that can only be in places like nexusmods.

I really wonder kinda limits are gunna have to be imposed with console. But honestly. Crossplay and just a few fun mods I’d be happy. I just wanna play one of the other origin stories but customize the them😭

Is there a mod to remove the party limit? as a console player a mod that dose that and a mod that raises the level cap to 20 and maybe one to add in ketheric’s gauntlets and boots but yeah no party limit and level 20 is the main things I really care about I could do without any other mods don’t really care for additional classes or races

The mod list seem bad, and a lot of the mods i seen in other videos are no in it. Will it get updates?

What do you mean? Which list? 1. You can now play with official mods (from the ingame menu) AND/or with unofficial mods from Nexus. 2. Mods from Nexus Mods, will or will not need to be updated, which has nothing to do with this specific ingame modsupport, but is common every big Patch. (big patch breaks (unofficial) mods is a "rule" of thumb for almost every game with mods). Will it get updates? Will WHAT get updates. Use terms plz. There probably will be more mods in the future in the ingame modlist, now it's open to everyone. Also the new ingame modmanager not only manages official mods but also the unofficial ones. So you can now decide to (un)load mods just before you load into a game.

There are official modes from mod.io, not nexus mods, so I imagine as new mods are certified and entered they will make their way into the mod list. Its going to probably be like skyrim were new ones pop up often

im not sure if im just stupid but for me this has now ruined all of my mods i already had do i have to re install them through the built in one now or do they just not work anymore?

Not stupid, but it is just the way it is for EVERY new (big) Patch for every game where you use unofficial mods (Nexus). If u use mods always wait with updating to a new patch until you -Played through the game -Know that all mods you use have updated to support the newest patch -Update and start over (reroll char), delete all mods and install mods the moment they are updated. Or directly use the mods that are not affected by patch switching.

@@benchadwick6642 Try to look if you can reroll back to patch 6 so you can keep using old mods. Reddit and google can help.

@@RayoSombrio78 always risk in mixing mods from various sources. All you can do is try and see and worst case be ready to remove them

@@Ulfhednir9 I saw some custom classes in there! Didn't specifically see that but this list of mods is going to grow daily. These are just approved mods.io ones. I imagine lots of the nexus mods makers will go through certification to get theirs in there too

@@Ulfhednir9 if I remember correctly from the live streams during development they were concerned with it being OP. I actually know a few DMs who won't allow artificer at their tables 😂

@@GameDadVII I've played artificer and they are fun but not OP, The main reason some DM don't allow it is because they don't think it fits the medieval setting (even though guns were around or half the medieval period and inventors and engineers have been around the entirety of it) but each to their own :D I just want my enchantments, flintlock pistol and musket :D

Yes, but there is also a mod (on Nexus) that puts back the achievements :D

@@xosmuits Nope! Patch 7 bring BUILT IN Mod support, so you are all good! its just going to get better and better over time

@@yssablackwood5412 It is a decision made by a modmaker if they or if they not release a(n existing) mod (in the ingame modlist) This is the day one start, with only mods from modmakers that were in the beta testing. I'm guessing a lot of old/existing mods will become available this way, but also a load won't because of the terms/conditions Larian will have.
