the fact people are saying we wont get Avalon as a WZ map this game is baffling..... why would they give us a 90's bases Avalon for 2025 CoD when its ment to be a futuristic based game. Everything story wise and map wise has been Avalon based... ofc we'll get it sooner rather than later.

well in MW2 they had santa sena, with a full map, multiplayer maps, story cinematics, named places etc and that map never came out.

Because Verdansk was already confirmed to be the big map for this year by the devs themselves, it wouldn't make sense to release 2 big maps that close together when they need a map for next year, and the leakers like Tom Henderson and BobNetwork who have a near 100% accurate track record have specifically said that Avalon was originally planned for release now, but delayed til next game because Verdansk is coming this year instead. They also leaked all that before Avalon was ever named in official sources, and before the devs announced Verdansk returning. People said the same thing about MW2 remake maps coming to MWII, and how it made no sense to not put them in MWII since they were already part of Al Mazrah, despite leakers saying they were being saved for MWIII. Who turned out to be right again?

They were just following Fortnite map design at the time. POI’s look like they are just placed randomly because they can be easily swapped in an update. Fortnite changed POI’s constantly so Black Ops 4 had to design with that intent.

If the next black ops is going to be futuristic I would fucking love a (short) return of jet pack and wall running movement mixed with omnimovement. They just went overkill with 3 jet pack cods in a row last time but ngl I’ve been craving a good movement fps since Titanfall 2 and IW.
