So… Bob’s choreography speaks for itself. The camera-ography and jump editing not so much. Too many angles and cuts in .60 sec spot. Slow down their skippy. We want to actually see the talented performers perform the choreo. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Neither Anne Reinking an amazing and brilliant Fosse dancer and Chet Walker also an amazing Fosse dancer and dance captain (FOR SEVERAL OF Bob's shows) could not teach and get out the kids today what Wayne Cilentro (who has also was an amazing dancer/performer who was in several of Bob's productions) is able to do with production. You can feel the energy, feelinig, and emotions pulsating from the dancers bodies. This clip makes you not just feel, but feel alive and wan to dance. I once heard a Fosse dancer talk about stretched out arms and extended fingers that Bob wanted to see beams of light radiating and pulsating from their fingertips. The revival of Chicago and the quasi bio production of Fosse (I think that production had too much fighting behind the scenes for it to truly take off. At least that what I have been told by friends in the industry) both were okay productions. Neither worthy of Bob's legendary and brilliantly talented artistry and genius, BUT Wayne's production of Dancin' comes across both as a brilliantly loving tribute that reaches for the stars and makes this former performer want to buy an orchestra seat.

body parts dancing are not only uninteresting but annoying. This is a violation of the Astaire Rule about filming a dancer.
