The fabricator is actually very important because unless something changed recently its the main way to get meat. Not many animals left in the world after robots take over.

This one gets super hard from what I remembered others playing it. I'm pretty sure you have to put points into the mod-specific perks and get those before vanilla weapons and armors? Not sure but usually that's the case with overhaul mods. Like you run into a modded enemy that is a lot easier to kill with the right weapon - but you didn't put the points into it yet. The western mod has a fully custom map with lots of POI's to go with it - that's a pretty deep mod. This mod here is supposed to feature space flight eventually. The joke mod is getting better. I haven't seen anyone try DF but you know how that one goes. lol

I guess it will take a while to reach District 9. Edit: out of the overhaul mods you mentioned, this one is the one that seems most interesting to me. I'm not a big fan of either the Joke Mod or War3zUK.

The trader and some of the lore stuff mention the duke but I don't think we ever see him in the base game or in a mod. I'm probably wrong here but I don't remember it if we do.

I like that you can pick up various objects like the dressers and tv. If a zombie apocalypse happened in RL we would be using all that stuff to barricade doors and windows. Would love to see a mod where you had to use world objects for base building instead of unrealistically creating cobblestones, concrete and steel.

I've been enjoying this mod so far. Lots of new and interesting POIs. I didn't get sent to one until the desert (level 3), but it was interesting (no spoilers). I'd say go for it! I know GNS is doing Afterlife, and DasTulip is doing War3zuk. I think DasTulip is to War3zuk as Altin's Gaming is to the Sorcery mod (item in War3zuk named after him...). You probably already know this though lol. Ok, I'll shut up now. 😄

This mod have some interesting additions but i dont think its enough for a new series yet, even though this have new stuff, mod doesnt have the lore or different mechanics. Joke mode is a joke, might be fun on a live stream but i dont think its a lets play mod. Undead Legacy, Darkness Falls and War3zuk are good, but i genuinely think you should check AFTERLIFE before deciding the next series.

While I do like District Zero I'd have to say that WarezUK is my favourite mod atm, though Afterlife is looking worth putting the time into to learn. Outback Roadies is also good, like this it changes the danger.

Undead Legacy hasn't had an update in over a year, but it's a massive overhaul. Even redoing electricity, which I am excited for. Believe me, I will be on that very quick when its own lol> And so far this is a likelyhood to do a series on, I may be doing a multiplayer on War3zUK with Daph so this may be a better choice either way

You can build in trader places. So in this mod you can have your base at traders.

Yep, though it isn't any more tactically sound than any other building that has a decent fence. Would be an interesting challenge to try and hold it off, though horde night would be messy

Hm... looks great but the "Trader Protection" gone is a little bit too much, imo. But I do like that you can stay in there (the Trader I mean) for the night, although that said I understand why the protection had to be removed. Otherwise it just would be too easy. I mean, if you can stay overnight at a trader an no zombie could come to get you, you just wait for the zombie horde every other 7 days and just wait inside the trader till morning and the zombie horde would just colapse outside the trader location.

In the red rooster, you missed a bag on top of the loo, you never opened the toilet door. You walked right past one bag in the upstairs section and another was in the corner behind you at the point the zomb drops from the ceiling before you jamp out the window.
