I am super loving what I see here. I like to play each faction as a "pokemon" kind of way (in other words, gotta catch em all with the legendary lords.) His planz mechanic seems perfect for specializing each legendary lord with thematically appropriate armies. This makes me very, very excited. I was a bit tepid on this DLC just because these three races aren't my favorite, but this first look has definitely changed my mind.

The ogre dlc has a lot of complexity as well. Not my favorite factions but all are pretty high up there for me. The more I learn about each faction the more I know I’m going to buy all of them on launch!

Actually it was never said if he did die or not. The final part of his lore was that nobody knows if the Dwarfs did get him or not. The Dwarfs don't say anything on it.

This looks amazing honestly, I'm so hyped to play Gorbad now. I was the most curious about Da Plan mechanic cuz it's the one we knew the least about, beyond a vague idea of "mixed armies unlock abilities." I'm super happy with the number and diversity of options that you have to play around with, the three tiers of strategies, the different abilities that seem to be really flavorful and useful, and I LOVE that it makes different themed armies more viable and powerful. I also love that Da Plan is available to every army individually, not just Gorbad's and not a globally set thing. Lots to love here, can't wait to play it myself!

Ngl, everybody is saying that the Orks are part of this DLC, because CA didn't knew what other faction to put in it. But honestly, they have got some pretty good additions into their roster and Gorbad's faction has some pretty legit bonuses (especially that -1 global recruitment for all units is a pretty big deal). When you look at the DLC content alone (not counting the FLC content), Greenskins have got better DLC than the Ogres did...

I have never enjoyed doomstacks or certain metas. I really enjoy mixed armies that feel resonable so this LL seems to fit me well. Its also nice to field more armies. Doomstacking and cheesing might allow that in the long run but its not the most fun way to play. Maybe this is why I mostly play Ahzag as the greenskins. I do enjoy the SFO combined with the ability to build embassies and such in allied undead faction. Fielding some weird mix of greenskins and undead never gets old. Fielding some zombie and skeleton armies before the great green tide. You put in a zombie dragon and maybe a unit of blood knights... its kinda neat. Another thing about these recent additions to LL:s is the increased ability to customize units, I really like that. Give them new abilities or types of weapons is a great thing. One of the thing that has bothered me the most about Total War is the static army for a faction. Even if they have said no I hope they put in an army painter at some point.

Gorbad is really great with his "Da Plan" mechanic. Shame Grimgor, Azhag, Skarsnik, and Wurrzag all don't have unique mechanics like Grom or Gorbad yet. I'm really hyped to play Gorbad and starting off at Black Crag is the perfect start for a Greenskins campaign. And using a mixed force and in-depth tactics and plans is going to be so much fun.

Honestly, I very very rarely play Greenskins. They're not really my style. The same is true for both Khorne and, to a lesser extent, Ogres too. I was pretty on-the-fence about whether to pick up this DLC or not. But this is looking like it could make for a really fun campaign, and I'm getting pretty excited for the DLC as a whole now thanks to these videos and actually getting to see them in action.

People really just can never be satisfied, the entire DLC is great for greenskins and will make them way more dynamic. Been looking forward to this, very excited to finally see all his stuff, i expect it to be my new fav, though im a little sad wurrzag is gone from the badlands. Glad to have the bestest orc warboss, feels like a good final dlc lord.

Damn, his faction and lord effects are amazing. His starting army should have been Goblin archers instead of Orc arro' boyz though. 1. They're better and 2. The only goblins in his army are the bolt thrower crew which seems lacking in terms of him using units from everything.

One of my biggest criticisms about the game has always been how there's little to no incentive to have mixed armies. Nothing is more immersion-breaking to me than seeing a doomstack. I use mods to force myself and the AI to have unit caps.

My main Warhammer was 6th edition. I always tried to get people into doing a 1,999 pt tournament/games because then the army list without Lords focuses more on troops and less on HeroHammer.

I am excited for Grom to not be the only choice, and I like his position which is looking prime to catch em all. But it's not gonna stop my disappointment for the lack of unique mechanics on the other lords. Even if the lord effects (Grimgors movement replenishment, Skarsniks stalking stance) were faction effects I'd be fine with it. I didn't expect the empire treatment because obviously greenies arent as popular but just something would've been nice.

Little bit concerned about being able to generate enough Planz to keep tactics active on all of my armies... Seeing as they have a set duration before you need to refresh them, and also they can only be generated by winning battles with Gorbad himself and not other armies... Gonna struggle keeping tactics active once you get later into the game and have a lot of armies about

Doomstacking is a bane in total war games since Rome 2 mostly... I remember thinking back when the CA GW deal was becoming public that the mechanic of the table top giving you limits to elite and rare units would save the feeling on the campaign... Well that didn't happen... At the time the deal became public I was doomstacking outhsworn in the Ceaser in Gaul DLC and the Attila attempt to fix it failed

I’m hoping the Greenskins get a mechanic where you gain infamy among Orks, and the higher you get the chance to challenge other legendary lords to combat, so you can defeat them, take their faction and then get the LL under your banner. Every time I’ve played Grimgor since he’s all the way in the Mountains of Mourn I’m never able to fight the other LL’s as they get killed before I can kill them😂😂

I think the "Da Plan" mechanic would be perfect for Ka'bandha. Which would symbolize how Ka'bandha uses careful strategy in battle, instead of just being a mindless slaughterer like other Khorne characters.

I'm not that bothered by collecting all the lords for a race, I find they overshadow the normal lords and I enjoy building up the nobodies into powerful generals. Plus confederation can feel incredibly cheap I did it to Grimgor once and just inherited his huge empire by defeating his army once.

Wurrzag, Azhag and Grimgor do not have unique mechanics, most of the heroes skill trees weren't touched, Skarsnik is even more OP than before somehow even with no unique mechanic, and they still didnt change his negative, which isnt a negative for him, for not holding K8P. The waaagh mechanic is still the same boring mechanic it always was, who cares if you can pick rewards now? and gorbads mechanic, while some of the buffs look fun, much like adding multiple scrap upgrades, when will they be seen while you roll through everything because you have a free army attached to every single one of your current armies and just blitz everything with auto-resolve? The units they added are boring and uninspired, black orcs with shields? goblins with sword and board?? They are practically the same as prepatch, its so disappointing considering the changes other factions have gotten, not to mention that they decided to do greenskins before norsca, LM or bretonia and this is what they do? Its insulting.

Gorbad should have better unique skills.. units and the other characters are okay/good and the mechanic is okay too, but also because the greenskins are in a okayish place in general. But he himself is a little bit underwhelming.. also with his animations, his nostalgic but boring look, and his tiny boar .. and his Skills
