Hey josh if your reading this, I just wanted to thank you for being an awesome person. I met you back in like 2008 when I was 8 years old at Love park and you gave me your deck after you switched to a freshie. I was sooo stoked to not only meet you but also talk to you for a min and get your used deck. I kept it hanging on my bedroom wall for like the next 9 years until one day I had no money for a board and took it off the wall so I could skate it. I have been a fan of yours ever since. Keep being awesome man and thanks for the memories! *edit* When you were talking to my mom and I our convo got cut short when the police came rolling through and you took off, needless to say I followed suite and scared the hell outta my mom running from the police hahaha...good times.

Don't get me wrong, I like Kalis but he's been lucky to be able to make a good life out of skateboarding, considering his average skills. To me, ledge skaters shouldn't make it to pro status.

I've been skating since 85' and I have never seen Kalis skate more than a 5 stairs rail or any transition whatsoever. I bet you were not even born yet. I could school you back to kindergarten if you think the Kalis DC video part was ground breaking... It was as good as any other ledge skater's video part which mean average, and that is my point.

Love = ledges and no, neither Williams or Kalis ever did the Love gap and this goes back to what I was saying, ledges skater shouldn't make it to pro status. That is my opinion, that's all. Just go watch Henry Sanchez destroying the stupid San Francisco ledges (long before Kalis Love era) and learn a bit of history.
