Those are great for parts identification. I have a similar one. This type is not so good for actual soldering, especially SMD work. It looks like it would work, but the working distance is too close, and it is not 3 dimensional to your eye. You really need a binocular type for soldering, but they are much more expensive. But again, the type you reviewed is very useful, and for the price you can't beat it.

That looks like the same one I sent Ape, they are mega handy especially reading the numbers on chips, transistors, diodes etc.

Hello, I intend to buy a G1200 Microscope, but I have a big doubt, I have seen videos from 2 years ago and the image in the captured videos and on the screen itself are seen without interference, without noise, the noise is small pixels constantly moving, the image is not still it moves. I have seen in the videos of these last 6 months, including yours, that the image in the videos has a lot of noise, has the quality of the components of this G1200 microscope changed? Maybe the CMOS of the camera is different and less quality? Can anyone say? thank you

In Device manager (Windows) it shows under camera USB so I know its connected but how do I view "Live" images on the scope (Live meaning not recorded to SD card. Thanks for ANY info. 73 Bill
