Hopefully, in future releases they will include VATSIM and Pilotedge ATIS info just like they do on simbrief. Great job Navigraph.

I don't remember at the time of the video if they did, but they do now include PilotEdge, VATSIM, and IVAO ATIS when they exist.

8:45 Standard charts are applicable to all aircraft categories. CAO (Commercial Airline Overlay) charts are optimized for cat C/D aircraft. A Jeppeson thing I think.

Great tutorial Moosestafa, it has become a lot clearer to me, you explain it calmly and clearly and we are always looking for people like that. I only now saw that it was for X-Plane but it won't make much difference at the base.. Often wild music is played and the mouse point flies from left to right and from bottom to top and then you are soon lost. Thank you again.

Actually this is not only for X-Plane but P3D, MSFS, and I think FSX as well.

58:00 In my experience, it is best to not use autoroute feature if going from major airport to major airport. I use the route analysis feature from flightaware. This way you can compare to actual routes flown. Especially if you use VATSIM.

Are there just errors in NAVI ? I get only 1 approach runway for LFML even though the menu shows 4 different runways. 05 is all the list provides for approach even thought I have selected 23 (i think). I also note that the COCKPIT selection of NAVI doesnt seem to work any longer at least not properly ... very different flight plan compared to the loaded fl plan from World Map.jjj So what is the best way to get NAVI into the GPS for IFR flight ? I assume export then Load in world map ? Bummer since I want to start in a parking space. I thought you could setup a flight plan in the cockpit using NAVI - and load to GPS ?? no ? why the ** not ? So much software so many goofy issues. Thnkas for your video !

Not sure what you mean... there is no Runway 5 or 23 at LFML.

Very good video and very helpful. The only thing about it that I was disappointed with was your voice would be very clear and then it would taper off so I couldn’t even hear you. Maybe you moved your head away from the mic I’m not sure but it happens all the time so you may want to listen to it yourself to see what happened.

Hi there. Great video. Could you please help me understand the following. Do I first create a FPL with SB, then go to NG then export it to FbyW. Is this the order or I don't need SB, and I just do everything in NG, then export the FPL? I am new sorry, and I only like to fly the FbyW. The next question, how do I get NG FPL to show up in then FbyW, flight ipad? Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply... I find it easier to build my flight plan in SimBrief, then import the route into Navigraph. The reason being is SimBrief has a lot more built in tools for planning the loading and fuel in addition to just the route. Whereas Navigraph Charts is really just building the route itself, regardless of the aircraft. Now you can build the route and export that plan to MSFS, however once again the export options out of Navigraph are more limited than that of SimBrief. Depending on the aircraft your using, there is a variety of formats that data might need to be in. Unfortunately I don't use the FlyByWire (I use the Fenix) so I don't know what format it needs. However its possible that it will import directly from SimBrief assuming you have provided your user ID into the tablet like many addons are doing today... which is yet one more reason to use SimBrief first, then load into Navigraph to get your charts. Hope that helps.
