As divisive as the new headlight is, I look forward to what the aftermarket comes up with to change its looks. (Just keep practicing that center stand “lift”, it’s all about technique and not strength or your weight 😉.)

I don't care for the new headlight, but I guess BMW is trying some Neuvo styling which the open market will decide the matter. Nice video and I do believe it's called the center stand.

I assume this version had the automatic ride height lowering option? If so the suspension is supposed to raise up as you put the bike on the center stand. This should make it easier. I wonder if the battery was properly charged on the bike.

Love the review and listening to your excitement. I am going to keep my 1250 GS. I love every part of it and as nice as this new one is I am not a fan of the front headlight at all. I also do not think the bike has the same coolness as the 1250. But that is the best part of choice. Many will love it and for the rest we can keep what we have. Keep up the great work.

There is a trick to lift it up easier using the double stand. You just need to grab the co-rider footpeg or the bracket of the footpeg and lift from there while you have your foot on the double stand and the other hand on the steering handle. Try it. Works like a charm.

hello . nice bike . but fivty kg and lift the bike . i have a sollution . . what i do to lift mine bike i put a small shelf under the rear tire . when it fits than i lay the shelf behind the tire and drive the rear tire on the shelf and than it is much easyer to lift the bike on the center stand . good luck you can do it .

Hi Dominika, I enjoyed your review, yes that front headlight unit certainly is dividing opinion, I'm on the side of liking it, and the overall design is a step forward I think, for me the majority of the time I ride solo, so reduced dimensions isn't a concern, but people who carry a pillion and lots of touring gear, not sure. My single biggest gripe I have to wait a further twelve months for the new ADV model to replace my 1250 GS ADV TE triple black, I'm already champing at the bit. Thank you.

I think the headlights for the traditional riders need a little time to sink in. It looks like a Japanese Gundam robot. But I kinda like it.. because its the first of its kind and unique and bMW has taken a step to be bold

The trick to get it to the center stand is to pull it backwards. Never try to lift it up, just back. BTW, that is the worst looking bike ever made. I will miss the big presence of all the previous GS models.

Οι υποτιτλοι δεν μπαινουν πατώντας ένα κουμπί και υπάρχει κόστος και χρόνος για να μπουν. Το κανάλι είναι μικρό και σίγουρα δεν έχει έσοδα. Αφήστε την κοπέλα να κάνει την δουλειά της με τα παράπονα όλοι σας. Υπάρχουν άλλα κανάλια στα Ελληνικά και επίσης φροντιστήρια Αγγλικών. @@manolito-s

Με όλη την καλή μου θέληση θα μιλήσω και θα πω κάποια πράγματα τα οποία τα θεωρώ βασικά μου είσαι πολύ συμπαθητική και γλυκιά κοπέλα και το εννοώ και είμαι φαν σου χρόνια τώρα και follower αλλά θεωρώ το να είσαι στην Ελλάδα να πορεύεσαι από αυτή και να βιοπορίζεσαι κάνοντας τα βίντεό σου με παρουσιάσεις από μοτοσυκλέτες από ελληνικές αντιπροσωπείες Θα επρεπε στα βίντεό σου να μιλάς Ελληνικά ή έστω και ελληνικά Δεν νομίζω ότι δεν έχεις μεγάλο κοινό στην Ελλάδα Και δείχνει λίγο ασέβεια στο να μη μιλάς ποτέ ελληνικά στα βίντεό σου ενώ ζεις σε αυτή την χώρα και οι παρουσιάσεις γίνονται εδώ σε καταλαβαίνω ότι έχεις μεγάλο κοινό και στο εξωτερικό αλλά είναι κάπως οξύμωρο αυτό όλες οι παρουσιάσεις να είναι στα αγγλικά ενώ βρίσκεσαι στην Ελλάδα και έχεις νταλαβέρια με τόσους Έλληνες αντιπροσώπους που παρουσιάζεις τις μοτοσυκλέτες στην Ελλάδα!!!

Υπαρχουν και ξένοι στην Ελλάδα που θα ηθελαν να ξέρουν απο ποια αντιπροσωπεια να αγοράσουν μηχανή και ποιά να αγοράσουν. Το "ασέβεια" είναι λίγο χονδρό σαν όρος στην συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση πιστεύω. Είναι καθαρά επιλογή της σε ποιά γλωσσα θα κάνει τα βίντεο. Δηλαδή στον Καναδά που είμαι εγω τα Ελληνικά κανάλια εκει δίχνουν ασέβεια στον Καναδα που το πρόγραμμά τους είναι στα Ελληνικά; Μπορεί και να μην νοιώθει οτι μιλάει και τα Ελληνικα καλά που ξέρεις. Σεβαστη η γνωμη σου αλλα ισως ο τρόπος λίγο αγαρμπος ίσως (για μενα) χωρίς να θέλω να σε προσβάλω.
