I'm so glad you picked this showtape, it's one of my favorites. The intro is so emotional too, it's kinda cool to get a view of Billy Bob's childhood. Jack, you should be proud that you put this much dedication into this restoration. I'd love to own a character myself and learn how to repair pneumatics, but it's just not ideal for me atm. So for people like you to go out of their way to do this for everyone to see is incredible. Looking forward to seeing more of your show!!

So many emotions. Incredible seeing this show finally up and running. Awesome editing from Sully G, who I always saw in the comments and found it funny in a “fancy seeing you here” kind of way. So much history. Incredible programming work and performance so many years later. Just… all-around sick to see this, and impressive too. Hope I can see a Rockafire show in person one day (since I missed out on CEI tours).

I’m impressed. Usually animatronics look horrifying, but these look absolutely phenomenal. The attitude in the character is shown perfectly through the smooth and controlled movements on the animatronics. I can’t wait to see what projects you will work on or complete next!

I found your restoration playlist just last night, and this is such great timing! Rockafire was already phased out by the time I was old enough for places like this so I never got to see them perform in their prime. Billy Bob and Looney Bird look incredible! I've been into old animatronic bands for a while now and finally getting to see them looking brand new and singing their songs is such a treat. Can't wait to see the rest of the band!!

I'm speechless - I cannot imagine how much work you put into this. This whole community of RAE enthusiasts and how dedicated they are is super fascinating; the fact that private individuals have recreated entire shows like this is mind-blowing. I wonder what a classic-style performing animatronic would look like today had the trend continued and the technology continued to advance. These are powered by air compressors, right?

They are all powered by air compressors and use air-valves to move joints as far as I am aware looking at his previous videos.

Great work! You are an amazing member of this community. Keeping these characters alive is no easy job, but you have brought multiple from the dead. Keep up the amazing work. I hope that you can procure a full show one day, or have you already? It would certainly be one of the best in operation with your craftsmanship. I've been to CEI a couple of times and seeing the RAE in person is a life changing experience! It just doesn't come across on video how magical it really is. I really think there is something special here. I had completely forgotten about the Rock-afire explosion. At over 40 it all came rushing back to me like that scene in Ratatouille. I don't know what your aim is, but arcade bars had a huge surge in the 10's, maybe animation bar theater is next.
