That looks to me like either a previous rust treatment or the original paint having flaked. And those sills are good so that looks like a pass with advisory for corrosion.

[I, own a 2004, x type 3.0 jaguar. I keep the jaguar parked inside a climate controlled garage with a car cover on it. the jaguar is in great shape for its year 2004, the guy that I bought the jaguar did the same as I'm. doing. I, know the guy that I bought the jaguar from. / I'm only assuming that you can maybe scrape it or power wash it and let it dry out well then spary paint it under the frame aira and or spray a black rubber under coating. But never spay under coating on a fuel tank because it will hold moisture only want to paint a fuel tank.👍

if, you park you're jaguar outside put a car cover on it it also help out a lot for everything on top. and as a vapor barrier you can park the jaguar on a tarp.

Theirs absolutely nothing wrong with the suffrage and suspension, powder coating doesn't last long as they tend to peel and flake off causing the metals to corrode and rust ...a quick buff and some black coating should make it look tidy ..

I, never drive my jaguar in the winter I'll only start it and run it. but never in the snow because of the road salt. I, take care of the investment for years ahead.

That was my thinking, it's had £200 on parts and been sweet as a nut since the MOT!
