My man really got VFD'd day 1, duel 1 and turn 1. The format is OCG by the way, not TCG. I personally almost got a heart attack when I fought a guy who summoned Drident in TriBrigade. Apparently TCG rules are gonna be implemented soon so no more Maxx C, VFD... but prepare to be DPE every single game. Finally, for those thinking the game is easier for P2W : You can build a tier 1 deck without spending a single dime as long as you know what to look for. The crafting system is so broken for F2P players I'm wondering if they're not gonna change it down the line.

I do not think it's fair to bash on newcomers to play the Base deck in the litteral lowest rank and fight Invoked Dogmatika or even Traptrix (which is rogue at best but still). That being said, you new players need to understand : THIS IS NOTHING LIKE DUEL LINKS. You need to practice, learn your own deck and also the decks of your opponent. I'll give it to you : There are A LOT of cards but the human brain is powerful. You will retain what the cards do the more you play with and against them. Practice with friends with simpler strategies, understand the mechanics, the plays little by little. Watch other people duel. Try to understand the plays, to find misplays, to admire good plays, to gather knowledge on counterplays. When you think you have an overall good understanding of what the game is, go for ranked with your priority still being learning, not winning. Cause if you have no clue of what's going on, even with the best decks virtually possible, you will lose everytime and et frustrated.

Thats an issue with the game, not with the ranked mode. Every deck that is tiered or rogue will play a strategy with the goal of winning the next turn by either preventing you from playing or breaking your board and otking. The starter decks simply play a completely different game than what is gonna happen on ranked so even practicing with them will not prepare you for the real game. Best suggestion I can give new players is to pick up a deck like invoked dogmatika, watch some youtube videos on it to get the gist of things. The deck is simple enough that you don't have to think about complex combos and can instead focus on learning the technical play and match ups. Its still gonna be rough to get into the game from 0.

That's a terrible mistake. Core card of the deck Nadir Servant in OCG is limited to 1. Shaddoll Dogmatika has not seen competitive play in OCG for almost whole year it's pretty much unplayable unlike TCG where it's too tier deck still. This game uses OCG banlist hope you didn't spend to many gems or craft too much.

Combos can be hard to do and a lot of decks have pretty free form combos that can extend depending on the hand. Also have to know what the opponent is doing so you can ash or nibiru the right thing.

@@exalted8571 they're all pretty bad, however just for a couple of duels I used the synchron deck mixed with a few shaddolls I was lucky enough to pull In my first 10 packs
