I did love the look of the new Spring Update, but watching you go on a Bastion-raiding rampage makes me wonder about the lore of the world, and if we'll ever get some canon lore drops. Did the Piglins build the Bastions, or did someone else? Who built the Fortresses? Are the Wither Skeletons the undead remains of the former guards and soldiers who manned the keeps? What happened to kill (and resurrect) them all? What happened that the Bastions are broken and crumbling? The _Those Were the Days_ advancement hints at times when once the Bastions were intact, newly built. Same goes for the Overworld; what civilizations built the Trail Ruins, the various Temples? The abandoned mineshafts? What happened to them? Plague, famine, natural disasters? Do the Wandering Traders know, or have they not come across that in their travels? We might never know, and it vexes me. Yes, I'm a lore-fiend; I love worldbuilding~

@taiko1237 YESS!! Debris; of what?? And all the necromancy; undead roaming the land, _soul_ enchantments and even lamps using captured souls as fuel? The Soul Sand Valleys filled with trapped and damned souls and fossils of fallen behemoths? The heck happened to the world of Minecraft? Because it feels like a regrown and re-seeding post apocalyptic world, where humanity has been divided between raiders, undead, and the survivors who are trying to bootstrap their way to survival.

Hey Python, loved the episode! Love me a treasure bastion, as the central chest has that lovely GUARANTEED netherite upgrade template. Which is why I was so distraught when you immediately used it up without creating a few duplicates! Seven diamonds and a block of netherrack, versus another harrowing trip to the Nether with no chestplate? I know which one I’d choose! That aside, loving the vids as always. Keep up the good work, and take care of yourself!

Python, random (speedrun) tip, you can locate bastions a lot easier if you load up the pie chart (F3 + 1), and press the number next too - Tick, entities (I think that's it anyway)

Don't upgrade to snapshots at all, they're just early preview versions of the update, you'll have to regenerate the chunks over over when they keep adding new stuff. Just wait for release candidates.

I used to run my worlds in snapshots back in the old days and never had any issues with regenerating chunks if that was needed. We should be fine (provided the snapshots are at least reasonably stable, hence why I'm not upgrading to 25w02a) 🙂

Hey Python, have you thought about possibly adding a coloured beacon to the centre of prismantis, I think it’d be a nice bit of pezzaz for such a magnificent build

Tnt mining netherite well ancient debries actual 4 hour tests the stats for you both versions 102.4 per hour beds only 53.7 per hour python strip mining 56.6 per hour beds are the worst on both versions but on bedrock end crystals chain and if you can get a lot like I can 112.3 per hour with end crystals they don't chain on java so please just go the tnt route ok bro
