This is the first video I find that an NP really talks clearly in detail what they do. Not just in general or with hidden messages. Thanks

I just started my first FNP job in a nursing home. It is a lot to take in. Are you just memorizing everything? Its hard to know exactly what to order in the given amount of time. We have to see 18 patients and finish the charting that day preferably because if not it just goes into the next work day. I find myself wanting to look through the charts more thuroughly, but I dont have a lot of time to really do that. I'm scared because I dont want to screw up. I've decided to create a notebook of the most common ailments in the nursing home and the most common treatments. Also creating a drug section to list out common drug interactions to watch out for in the nursing home. I'm just at a loss for how to get out of this funk of not knowing things. Any suggestions??

I’m confused for some info. Do you mean you passed in 12/2019 and practiced in 3/2020? But you said you started practicing in March of 2019.
