These are a must i have the evotech ones on my bike and a 92 year old just ran into my bike in a parking lot the other day as i watched in horror😮🤦🏻 damage was minimal thank god it fell onto the left side because if it fell to the right then my full titanium Akra would have been ruined. Im still waiting for him to get me some 💵 to cover damages he promised he would take care if it🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Red Loctite but don’t use it use orange Loctite so you can get it off…

Thread locking compound. People will say loctite, but that's just a brand of various adhesives. If you're going to do ANY work on your own bike, the essentials are thread lock compound (usually blue for bolts that may need removing, red for anything internal that should be permanent), some half decent sockets and quite possibly the most important tools you'll ever use, a couple of torque wrenches; one for low to medium torque applications such as oil drain bolts and brake caliper mounting bolts, and another that covers higher values such as rear axle nuts.

@@lalalagirl2925 But to someone who doesn't know anything about thread locking compound and why it's used, they could ask/look for loctite and walk away with cyanoacrylate or any of the other adhesives that the brand has to offer. Retail staff aren't always clued up about what their store sells either.

These bobbins may save some of the bike but they're nothing compared to a proper stunt cage with a sub cage setup. When will you guys produce a proper stunt cage for the main lineups?? Lots of people are asking for a 790/890 Stunt cage but have to order throuh Crazy Iron because you guys stopped making real cages. I feel like bobbins are a bad excuse.

must be 3 mount points - not 2. If you got slide and there will be a risk to bend the frame

Depends on where it is mounted. The ideal location for crash protection mounting is engine mount points where there is the reinforcement of the engine behind the frame.

OP hasn't a clue. Sorry but if a bike goes down hard enough that a well designed set of crash protectors bends the frame, your already fucked. Not all crash protectors are created equal and some can cause damage. You need a design that fits to a strong mounting point such as engine mounting points where there is something reinforcing the frame. These aluminium ones... No. Better off with the nylon bobbins as they deform more on impact, absorbing more energy that would be transmitted to the frame.

Lol .. yea mate , you better start off with non cheese-grater cams if you want to improve a KTM , their years of denying & weasel words have come to a end at last , with 8000 .. yes that’s 8 thousand disgruntled owners sick & tired of being lied to & ferked around by this scam company. keep a eye out for a big arse class action.
