you can't recur brannew with Rebecca since he's not a 3-7 cost

I was tired a misspoke lol you can play brannew after grabbing something else. Common play I do is grab Tashigi and play brannew. For more advantage out of hand.

You know, Whitebeard, even the rush heavy variant, goes down pretty easily if you're able to play 1 "It's a Waste of Human Life!" Watching a Whitebeard player go from 9-12 cards all the way down to 5 cards in hand is one of the single best sights in the whole world! LOL so I always have 1 in my deck. Although, lately I've been looking to see if I can find a way to fit in a second one. It's just so good not only against Whitebeard, but any red matchup, like Zoro and R/G Law. And not just because they run so many low cost characters (although that is a part of it), but because they run so many searchers, they usually have a really big hand size too. So forcing them to discard until they only have 5 is such a pivotal play! And if Zoro has 2-5 little guys on board still cuz you haven't been able to draw a Lucci yet (which happens any time you need him lol) then there goes their entire board in 1 fell sweep! The only reason I haven't been playing 2 is because I don't like seeing it in other matchups usually, but it sucks when I can't fish it out in the matchups that I run it for too. It can actually even be really useful in the mirror match, especially if the opposing Sakazuki just played their Kaido. LOL watching them trash everything they just gained is priceless. But of course, the Kaido on board can make that play risky so it depends a lot on the board state whether or not that card can be played in that matchup. But yeah, "It's a Waste of Human Life" is low key an amazing tech choice and you should really try it out sometime. Even if it's just a 1 of.

I feel like Sabo is also really good into purple Luffy, to prevent any of your other units from getting hit going into their 9 Don!! turn, or if you can tell the Luffy player is likely to play 9c Kaido. Also, I personally feel he's the best blocker to use in the Katakuri matchup too, not only for the 1 turn protection from Thunderbolt, but because he's able to dodge 200 Million Volt Amaru, which can steal a win from out of nowhere if you're not prepared and only have 4c blockers like Rebecca or Borsalino. But 100% agree with Hina being at 3 and not 4. I'll admit, there have been a few games where I felt like it took too long for me to finally see her, but every time I go to to 4, she inevitably ends up clogging up my hand lol. Plus, the deck list is already so tight, finding something to trim off to make room for other tech choices is really nice IMHO.

I dont know. i think, if you play 2 Red Rocs. If would play only 1-2 Ace Age. You can think about it. For 1 Ace Age i would recommend: 3c Blocker Bartolomeo. Its a great Option for Rebecca and get a little more deff on board and hand. Greetz

Personally I think Ice Age hounds blaze is a little too strong. 💪 but I could test it out for the barts. More 2ks would be nice cause I’m barely edging out as is with as is with combo. But it’s these minor changes that keep it interesting to see. Red roc is literally there for 1 card answers to decks that will spam top end. Newgate, RP Luffy, Kata, Rozinante, Enel eventually. It also severely hurts prone Luffy cause if they don minus 5 for Kaido and they lose out on that card. You really made them set back. But like I said there’s match ups you auto cycle the card.

Have you tried 3 cost hina...toy soldier or 1 koby?

I haven’t tried those yet. Tech is crazy, and I’m having success with the list. But aside from the 2ks idk what I’d do. Toy soldier is something I wouldn’t consider due to him not being navy off the search with Brenew as a 2k. And Bart while not being able to be searched is still a blocker and you get that funny 3 DON!! math all the time. lol

I’ve played 1-2 Vergo in the list, lots of WB and Katakuri in my local meta. The extra 2k is definitely necessary haha. I absolutely never play it on board, just a 2k that can get rebecca + mansherry and brannew’ed.

I've added 2 Bartolomeo to my deck list and I refuse to play any version of the deck without him anymore! LOL having a blocker cheaper than 4 cost has saved me in several games, but more importantly than that, playing 10 2k counters instead of only 8 of them makes far more difference than I ever would've thought until I thoroughly tested it. Not only that, but he's another 2k counter that can be recurred via Rebecca and/or Mansherry, which can be life saving too. I highly recommend him! I also like playing the blue 3c Hina more than I thought I would've. Idk if she's for everybody, I really didn't think she'd be that useful initially. But personally, is kind of hard for me to imagine playing without her now. I'm thinking of bumping her up to 3 copies, but I just don't know what to cut in order to make room. But I do think she's worth testing and experimenting with. I've yet to try Toy Soldier or Koby, but I can't ever imagine running Toy Soldier over Barto, (which is the only way I could ever fit it in). And Koby genuinely seems like it could be good as a 1 of, but idk... I kind of would rather just run 3k Worlds or something if I just want cheap removal. Discarding a card in a combo heavy deck can kind of hurt. I get he's nice to play off of Rebecca, but idk... I do want to test him out at some point though.
