I like the fact that they made the beginning of GOW 3 a literal sequel to GOW2 legendary ending. With the same line we love so much :- "Zeus! Your son has returned. I bring the destruction of Olympus!" Man... I love this series. GOW3 is my favorite PS3 game. 💯

@@OmegaProtogenoi by deep, I think you mean watching cutscenes which are designed to be emotional and carry an obvious meaning and a purpose. There is a different between the old and new gow games, old ones are designed to be videogames, not interactive movies.

@@OXY187 God of war 2018 three hours of cutscenes for a game that takes 40 hours to fully complete. God of war III has 1 and a half hours of cutscenes and takes 12 hours to complete. Use maths, God of War III has a longer cutscene to gamepelay ratio.

You have full control over your character and the game doesn’t force you to carry a corpse or other stuff that doesn’t excite the player after their first playthrough. There is a reason why old god of war fans complain about the direction new games have. Ask yourself this, how long does it take to jump straight into combat in old God of War games, and then compare them to the new God of War games. God of War 3 has 1.5 hours of total cutscenes, but God of War 2018 has almost six hours of total cutscenes. God of War 3 doesn’t have moments where the player has to sit and watch two characters interact with each other in an already designed environment and a path to tell a story. You have gameplay in God of War 3. That’s the difference. Cutscenes serve additional purpose in terms of storytelling, but when your entire game is dependent on cutscenes and dialogue moments, leaving little room for the actual gameplay with full player control, you end up creating an interactive movie, not a videogame.

God of war 2018 has 1 to 8 cutscene to gameplay hourly rate God of war 3 has a 1 to 8 cutescene to gameplay hourly rate. Also if you have a problem with story games I don't know what to tell you, deal with it. I'm sorry killing a sex slave is more interesting to you than creamating your dead wives body. Also the old games had plenty of slower sections. What you want is a combat simulator, not a story.

Apparently, they initially wanted to make GOW 2's graphic as good as how GOW 3 eventually is, but because at that timr thr only available port were PS2, they couldn't do so, but GOW 2 still ended up as one of the most advanced PS2 game, and 3 years later GOW 3 came out on PS3 and also become one of the most advanced PS3 game on the port

They wouldn't have helped him, for two reasons: 1.) He was falling REALLY fast, and 2.) They're artificial wings, stolen off Icarus, that simply allow him to, at best, glide over cliffs, chasms etc.

No you are wrong, about the doudble jump before swing stuff. It does not matter what you did before swinging whether you have double jumped or not. If you swing it reset your jump. So you were meesing up. All you need to do/remember is to double jump first then press and hold X to glide which is the same for GOW 2.
