What a beautiful boy you have! I'm sure he is a real blessing to your family. When our youngest was born 8½years after we were told there would never be anymore, my daughter put it quite nicely. She said, "Momma, it feels like he has always been a member of our family, that we were saving a place for him." God knew better than the doctors, it feels like he has always been a part of the family, he loves to cook, and he is a blessing.

Can I just say how much I love jamerill normalizing postpartum rest and care. So many mom bloggers have a baby and go back to speed cleaning their entire house, decorating the whole house etc. Its just not relatable or realistic. No hate if that's what you can do but it's so important to just put your feet up and rest !

Sandra Westley from the UK, I only wish that I did that with mine 50 ty years ago, instead I just worked myself into the ground, never really got to enjoy the baby time, as I went down with severe depression, that lasted to the next pregnancy and really went even worse, because one baby so easy and two is twice as hard. It took a long time to get things in perspective.

i know right! I'm glad someone out there tells us whats real. I didn't want to do a thing for the first 6 weeks postpartum with boy of mine. And even after that, I didn't do anything until around 3 months lol. I was always so dang tired.
