first powered parachute flight

This was my first flight in a powered parachute. We went to Moultrie,Ga. and met Jim Dees,who was the pilot that took me up for a into flight in a top of the line Airwolf powered parachute.It was well worth the time.Had a great time and Jim was very helpful in helping me decide on taking up the sport.

I had a Buckeye PPC years ago, since then have bought a Destiny PPC... Love flying them... Took about 4-6 flights to get completely comfortable, but once comfort and confidence set in, I was living the feeling and sights... If you can, give it a try, it's one of the most safest modes of flight there are in the right weather conditions... Mostly in the evening, but you can get some nice flights in early morning as well... One flight and you could be hooked... It got me!!!

Jim Dees is one of the most proficient teachers. I spent almost a week with him flying his Airwolf. Loved every minute. He is one of the finest gentlemen anywhere. Chuck Kovacs

The only way to fly lol I have a pse2osprey made by paraplane has a rotax503 climbs like a homesick angel one of these days I'd like to try an elliptical wing but these rectangular are so well behaved especially during inflation anybody got any experience with those I loved this video really shows the pendulum stability of these magical machines what model is this?

Your Add-On Alt. Appears to be Way Off compared to your on Board One....

The EIS (engine information system, I thinks) sets the altitude at zero at like 4300 RPM (takeoff rpm), so it does not have to be manually set like the old analog altimeters (the add on). The add on analog has not been set for the above sea level altitude of the takeoff airport, field, backyard.

@@capndave3570 I know what you're saying. 2 cycles are most common in light aircraft, and yes they are less dependable than 4 cycle. But all properly trained pilots (small planes) are taught to fly to have an out (place to land) in case the engine fails. And Cap'n Dave is right, you'd better have that out with a 2 cycle, because if you fly long enough, it will fail!
