It’s uncomfortable to show the hard times. It’s definitely not easy to show mistakes, but trying to be “perfect” on KZbin is a sure fire way to set yourself up for failure. Still here, still watching. Still a fan!
@theoldmansgarageАй бұрын
I know it’s hard to do in the moment. But if you can take a few steps back and look at the overall picture of what you have going on, even on the worst outing… you’re still miles ahead of 90% of the competition. Success will come. It might be just around the corner where you can’t see it at the moment.
@Forcefed2002Ай бұрын
Well said ! It's just like that one old dude that pretends to know how to tune a carburetor in front of a KZbin audience, fails miserably, yet still uploads the footage so we can criticize. Still here, still watching & still waiting for him to figure it out and succeed OMG Fan4life 😂

One more thing… props to Justin for being so supportive and encouraging throughout everything. Even when everything seems to be going wrong, he still seems happy to be there doing it. Probably helps that Jackie has the cutest voice on earth lol.

Jackie, I love that you are showing the failures! The journey is often more important than the destination. It shows that both of you are real people and makes it easy for us to relate to you. I understand the frustration, and eventually that car will be killer on every pass, but its going to take time and I really appreciate you letting me come along for the ride!
@MidwestStreetCarsAutoАй бұрын
thanks for watching!! we will get it figured out, it just takes some time
@dbeelee8564Ай бұрын
Isn't failure a bit harsh? Failures require expectations. First runs on major changes shouldn't have any expectations, only data. Make changes, run, collect data and make smaller changes. Repeat. Expectations come from consistancy which they are quite a few repeat cycles away.

Seeing her get that upset just goes to show the level of passion she has for racing. She ain't in it just to please cheif, she wants the wins just as bad as he does. You guys will get that car in the winners circle just gotta get the rounds under your belt to line that thing out. Once that happens look out. Love the videos by the way.
@jasonbose3507Ай бұрын
Big Chief, I love 💕 seeing you support your women's passion of racing! Being the tuner for Jackie is pretty cool! Pouring the puddles and lining up her car is really entertaining to watch. I hope to see more of YOU and Jackie taking turns in kicking a$$! Both of you look right at home in racing on the street and track. Keep up the good work 👍 😁. You both ROCK!!! Anyways, thanks for the video 📸.
@scoops420Ай бұрын
This video is what racers really go through. Trials and tribulations of that race life. Only one way to go and that’s up. Bet that deal can get a 1.20 60 ft once the bugs are worked out or when chief figures out how to tune😉. That rig sounds mean.
@AndrewH9999Ай бұрын

Don’t stop doing what you’re doing. And Jackie you’re supposed to get mad when things don’t go right. You’re human and put a lot of effort into this gig. I like Chief breaking it down to the reaction of the data. The technology you have at your fingertips is what you have to have to improve. The fact you put your lows as well as your highs out there shows us out here in youtube land you’re genuine to all of us fans. Don’t stop being human!!!!!

the reason i love this channel so much is because it is so real. both of you. Neither of you hide anything. you show the failures as well as the wins. theres so many channels that show someone taking a p.o.s. car and slap a turo on it and turn a 5 second run. and never show all the work involved in getting it there. Then people watcing go and try the same thing and fail and say the channel they learned from is stupid. In reality the one complaining is stupid lol. Love the channel/ You two are awesome.

Gonna be tough getting past Michael Hollis.

I have to agree with most of the commenters. You are an amazing driver, and anyone who has raced knows this is part of the game. Hell I've blown 3 engines last year all my fault. I look at it like this.. if you didn't get upset when things like this happen to me it would show that you just deep down don't care that much.. this just shows that the passion you have for this is as real as it gets...and how bad you want to do well is apparent... Remember this isn't the crow that Chief knows inside and out yet... Unless you tested and raced a lot more than you showed this is still a brand new setup that's not 100% dialed... Only way to get faster and continue doing better is by doing exactly what you are...lets go jackie.. you're already way ahead of where I was in half the time

Practice starting line procedures. Pre launch procedures with and without a competitor. And make full hits. Once you have a good and consistent reaction time and consistent 5.20 et’s then turn it up.
