Finally 2NE1!!!! You will quickly become a Blackjack (2NE1 fandom name). Lollipop was a pre debut song and it was a commercial for an LG phone. It was the first commercial song to reach #1 on the charts, without any show performances or promotions. Fire was 2NE1's official debut song. The Street version was the original, however Samsung commissioned the Space version to promote their 1080p hd flat screen tv. Their debut stage performance is widely acknowledged as one of the best debut stages ever. I Don't Care has three other versions, a rock version, a reggae version and and unplugged version. It won song of the year, a first for a rookie group. 2NE1 is still the only rookie group to win all 4 major awards in their debut year. Hence them being called the monster rookies. Hwasa and Wheein used to perform I Don't Care often when they were in high school. I Am The Best won song of the year in 2011. It became a viral hit internationally two years before PSY's Gangnam Style came along. I Am The Best became the most used song for various brands including Adidas, Microsoft, Kia Motors. In the same year 2NE1 won MTV Iggy's Best Band Of The Year. The song is iconic and every kpop idol knows it. 2NE1 shine best on stage. They always sing live and command absolute attention with their charisma, crowd engaging performances and F U female empowerment attitude. They turn awards shows, tv music shows and even other idols concerts into their own concert. Their live stages are legendary and are considered to be better than their music videos. CL's solo stage and surprise 2NE1 stage on MAMA 2015 is the most viewed in MAMA history. Yes, Park Bom has Korea's most unique voice. She achieved a PAK (perfect all kill) with her first solo song You And I. Wheein has stated that Park Bom is her only idol. Park Bom specifically requested Wheein feature on her second single 4.44 after a very long hiatus away from public view. 2NE1 are rightfully known and respected as legends by all idols, past, present and undoubtedly future. Since you gravitate towards bangers, then you're in good company. 2NE1 got plenty considering they only have a little over 30 songs in their discography. All of their songs charted, many achieved All Kills and 1 Perfect All Kill - LONELY (first for a gg), then Park Bom also gets to take home 1 PAK with You and I. I Am The Best is considered by Teddy Park as his best/favorite masterpiece during one of his interviews. It received the most attention in the US but 2NE1 was already big in Asia, SouthAmerica,some parts of Europe. Many Koreans listen to IATB every new year's eve to bring good vibes for the next yr. You can also hear it in many kdramas up to this day. However, I Don't Care is the most loved and nostalgic to them bec it never left their top 1000 chart since it was released 2009. I hope you also check out their ballads. 2NE1 actually won a best vocal group award. Try It Hurts, Lonely, If I Were You, Missing You and Come Back Home acoustic ver. LIVE PERFORMANCES is a must. Fun fact that nobody asked for but Minzy (short hair) is the maknae and she was 15 (international age) in all the songs you reacted except for 'I am the best' where she was 17… she debuted very young and is still very surprising to me how talented she already was. If you like both Bom and Minzy I would totally recommend you to react to 'if I were you' live, all the girls they kill it with the vocals there, but I particularly like Bomzy in it. 2nd favorite Minji. Minzi is the rapper who sometimes sings that wasn't CL. Dara is the vocalist with uh, distinctive hair styling, that isn't Bom. Bom was on the Queendom show with Mamamoo where they probably got to interact more than when Wheein recorded 444. Bom's first performance there was You And I and got a strong reaction from Mamamoo watching in the green room. Minzi worked with Somi in a group called Unnies for a short time, that was fun. Of course YG had 2NE1 and mismanaged them into the ground, then said charming things like he wanted Blackpink to be like 2NE1 but a pretty version (and sure enough he has them model more than sing).

Your favorites were also mine when I first checked out 2NE1. They capture the 60's girl group sound perfectly in I Don't Care and Park Bom's voice has that it factor that makes you sit up and take notice. The production of I'm the Best is in line with that era and sounds dated now but there's no doubt it's an absolute classic and if you're like me you might find it keeps growing on you until it becomes one of your favorite gg songs. Surprised you haven't listened to Wheein's feature on Park Bom's 4:44 yet but I'm sure you'll like it. We were all hoping they'd perform together during promotions but unfortunately it didn't happen. Queendom ran a few months after 4:44 and Park Bom's interactions with Mamamoo during the show were adorable. You're going to love Queendom when you finally get around to watching it.

Actually it is WonSoKa (Wonder Girls, Sonyeo Shidae, Kara) they debuted in 2007 so 2NE1 is their hoobae. But the WG flopped in US, and Kara got a HUGE success in Japan and forgot Korea 😂 So Snsd 'kinda' dominates the market and awards shows with 2ne1. I mean rookie 2ne1 didnt even look lime rookie AT ALL !!!
