I would say 2012 since Gyeongree addition and until Sera's departure. But 2015 new line-up was really good too. Drama, Hurt Locker and Sleepless Night are all absolute bangers.

If you want to talk about tall girl groups, its Nine Muses. I believe they hold the record for the tallest kpop girl group with all but like 2 members who are over 170cm. They had the same graduation concept as After School where members can be added to the group as others leave so they did go through quite a few line up changes. I think the company was trying to keep them as 9 members for 9 muses (which didn't really happen tbh) and keep the group going as long as possible but ultimately they didn't end up that way and disbanded. Still, they were a very underrated group with a lot of great songs.

It's interesting that the only member you know is Sera and she is only in the "Wild" music video. I recommend "Ticket", "Dolls", and "Drama".

"Graduated" was a cute way to say they didn't renew their contract or was kicked out. Their agency treated terrible up until their disbandment. Sera spilled the tea on Miss Back saying they kicked her out when she wanted more creative control. And Kyungri did an interview saying they got the news of the band disbanding out the blue when they planned a full comeback. They're documentary is still on KZbin too. It's awful how their Agency treated them. It's a tragic story but they did produce some incredible music and visuals.

A bit of the lore of the "Muses Diary" saga (I lied I dug a lot into the lore lol) So, it all starts with "Muses Diary Part 1: A Muse" the debut of 9Muses sub unit "9Muses A (A Muse)", the main song Lip2Lip is about a girl who tells how she imagined a first kiss and how It was actually one day when her crush came to her house without warning, so that at the end of the song the lyrics say "I just found out that my friend's new boyfriend is you, ew!" In the MV they reinforce the idea that the boy who was dating the protagonist (Represented by Kyungri, the girl with the gun in Remember) was also her friend's boyfriend (Represented by Hyemi, the blonde girl), "Shh!" The second song on the album talks about the perspective of one of the girls, it talks about how when she found out that her boyfriend had another girlfriend (her friend) she wants to leave him but at the same time she can't because she feels an intense attraction for him, which At the slightest attempt to want to leave him, she returns to him, so she keeps him a secret (Shh!) reflected in the lyrics "I know you have a girlfriend that I know" and "And who cares? I'm still falling for you!" "Monster" on the other hand talks about how the protagonist left the boy but misses him in such a way that he goes into depression, although she knows that the pain for him is temporary, it hurts more to have lost her friend. Its sequel "Muses Diary Part 2: Identity" also has the perspective of the boy camouflaged as a girl (because it is sung by 9Muses lol) "Pastry" is the boy's song dedicated to one of the girls, this song would chronologically occur between Lip2Lip and Shh!, in this song the boy seduces the girls and makes himself understood with the lyrics "Wait, now I'll make this sexier, My purpose now is this hottest situation to do" but only one stays with him. "Two Of Us" would come after Pastry and is a last attempt by the protagonist to get her boyfriend back, fighting with her friend in the attempt and is reflected in the lyrics "Baby show your mind and you will choose me, at both of them you won't." you will be able to have" and in "You love me and I love you, your heart is mine and no one, not even she, will be able to enter there." "Hate Me" and "Remember" come after "Monster" and talk about the protagonist, how she feels alone, directionless, and hates herself for having fought with her friend and having let her boyfriend separate them, but Now thanks to that she knows and understands that he never cared about her, therefore she never needed him and she is willing to finally forget about him (in the MV Keumjo releasing his stuffed animal would represent how she lost her innocence because of him and Kyungri burning him is herself erasing the little innocence she had left. Also the fact that the boy has a camera with photos ruined in the development and that they dance with a skeleton is a way of showing how they dance with their memories and at the same time erase them) . Then we have "Muses Diary Part 3: Love City", personally I don't have it in the canon of the story because it talks about a girl who plays with boys and who at the slightest attempt to control her leaves him. But if I would like to add Kyungri's solo debut "Blue Moon" many of us interpret it as "The Friend" finally leaving the boyfriend, since the lyrics talk about how she was in charge of managing the relationship, she tried to make everything go well But it just didn't work, so she decides to tell him her "Secret" that night, that the relationship was his fault and that if she wanted to, she would forget him again and again.

namyu is/was my ult group 💔 there were 3 major lineups (excluding the debut lineup which was really just one song): 2013, 2015, and 2017. you actually managed to react to one video from each lineup lol but i do recommend all their title tracks tho. all of them.

Nine Muses was my favorite girl group. I got into them in 2011 after the release of Figaro. They really should've exploded in popularity in 2013. That year and the group was like perfection. The "graduation system" wasn't really a concept. They just had members leave and later be replaced a couple times before the lineup dropped to four members (which you see in Remember). They were nine (briefly) during their debut era in 2010, seven in 2011, eight in 2012, and finally nine again in 2013 which was also the last time they were nine.

Funnily enough, Sera is in only one of the videos you reacted to here (Wild). She was the main vocalist from 2010-2014, and she is one of my fave main vocalists ever!
